In reply to: [NextCellent Gallery - NextGEN Legacy] Can't get it downloadedHi Websiteguy,
There could be a few reasons for that.
Could you provide some additional info to understand what’s going on?– What is the exact error?
– WordPress version on your site?
– Last NGG version (if you are migration from)?
– MySQL current version (at least 5.2.4)?
– PHP version? (NextCellent works with PHP 5+)
– Other useful info: Safe Mode (ON/OFF) and Apache mod_rewriteIf you are supicious about the problem is related with theme and/or plugins, please provide the following info
– Hosting
– Themes & plugins installed.Thanks!

In reply to: [wp-greet] Back to NG 1.9.13Hi there, Agentpopa
NextCellent is thought as an alternative for users having issues when NGG migration became problematic. Also, there will be improvements and simplifications on the plugin code providing backward compatibility which I already started.
Give it the plugin a try and stay tuned!

In reply to: Migrating from NGG NextGen GalleryHi there,
NextCellent plugin’s purpose is to enable older NGG users keep running their usual environment settings. So, in this primary stage the compatibility should be total. The following stage is to simplify and improve the plugin code, keeping the compatibility as always.

In reply to: [NextCellent Gallery - NextGEN Legacy] Delete old versionHi Ramzii,
thanks for your comments.
Please read the FAQ and follow the instructions. As it says, AVOID using the normal WP uninstall procedure, since it will delete NGG configuration and it will screw your work.If you feel unsure, backup your site first(!).
Ooops, that was a glitch in the documentation.
It correction now is included in the next release.Thank you for pointing that out!
Hi there,
could you deactivate PHP Strict in the meantime?
I know is not the best solutionhttp://stackoverflow.com/questions/9983286/disabling-strict-standards-in-php-5-4
Hi there,
I think NGG is working quite alright. I tested on clean WP installations and it worked fine. Most conflicts are with legacy code since NGG evolved to 2.0.xIf that is your case, I would recommend to going back to version 1.9.13 using FTP (http://www.nextgen-gallery.com/how-to-rollback-a-version/.) or try NextCellent (and read the FAQ!)
Take careHi there,
I think NGG is working quite alright. I tested on clean WP installatins and it worked fine. However, I found many conflicts with legacy code since NGG evolved to 2.0.xIf that is your case, I would recommend to going back to version 1.9.13 or try NextCellent.
Take careHi there,
Even is not entirely your case, I usually use Duplicator, which allows to replicate all the site.
So far, I didn’t find a plugin compatibility problem moving site and db to any place.Hi there,
Even I didn’t take accountability of the every NGG version prior 2.0.x I like to propose a variation in the meantime:V1.9.13 – latest stable and normal version. Safe to install.
V1.9.14 – NextCellent is out.
V2.0: slow, heavy, buggy. NOT safe.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [StatComm (StatPress Community) Multisite Edition] nevermind :/Hi jh20001,
that is maybe Statcomm is an evolution from the original Statpress, including a migration option.Statpress users should be comfortable using Statcomm, it provides same features and many, many more.

In reply to: [StatComm (StatPress Community) Multisite Edition] Fatal errorHi there!
Ok, that’s weird… I’ve been testing the plugin on WP 3.6 and it seems to work fine.
Is it possible the plugin is installed twice on your site? that could be one explanation. There is a simple trick to find what other plugin will stop working with the new Nextgen version. I also saw that shortcodes can’t be called using NextGEN_shortcodes any longer.
Paste this on Google
“NextGEN_shortcodes” site:plugins.svn.wordpress.org inurl:trunk
(two plugins will fail)and also
“nggCreateGallery” site:plugins.svn.wordpress.org inurl:trunk
(two more plugins)No problem! Glad to be helpful
Take care!Hi Neil,
I’ve been working in a improved version using Ajax table, which allows dynamically control how many results you want to show in every view, and also filter it.However, it seems to me unnecessarily complex, which stopped me for publishing. I wasn’t entirely happy with the results.
Nonetheless, I’m considering your request absolutely valid, I’ll introduce it in the next iteration.
