The plugin uses the agent’s ID, to get their Display Name. This is all done through WordPress’s core functionality, and is done according to WordPress standards.
We will definitely add a setting in there though 🙂

So sorry for only getting back to you now.
Any user on your website can be made an agent. This means that user’s with lower level roles, such as a ‘Subscriber’ will only have access to the ‘Live Chat’ dashboard, and nothing else.
Users with a higher level user role, such as an Administrator, will have access to all pages in your WordPress dashboard, including the Live Chat dashboard, settings etc.

This seems to only occur when using Firefox. There is a fix for this though – can you get in touch with us via our contact form so I can mail it to you until it is available in the next update we release? (http://wp-livechat.com/contact-us/)
