In reply to: Weird font and icon display in IEThis theme is very, very old. Last updated about 2 years ago so is probably not compatible with todays standards of web development.
Looking at the support forum for this specific theme, there is only 1 support thread created 7 months ago. I suppose you could try posting it in there for a response: Corp
Alternatively, and maybe a better suggestion is to contact the Theme Developer: GT3Themes
Edit: Just checked the download from WebDesignerDepot – Theme was updated to be compatible with WP 3.6.1 – have a look here.
As a sidenote: Check if Compatibility is on or off in IE.

In reply to: Adding sidebar to postsUnfortunately we cannot help you in this forum. We can help with Themes on the WordPress Repository only. You would have to contact the support team at Theme Foundry as this is a premium theme.

In reply to: Require link to site on new posts.OK, well I’m glad I got a response from someone though, thank you!
I know exactly what you mean about those who have a fit, I’ll just have to make a macro for my browser…save me the effort in typing (albeit a few words). I’d feel rude if I just said: “Link?”.
Thanks for your reply!
Take care,

In reply to: [Iconic One] Can't change color linkYou may also want to clear your browser cache, just in case it’s storing an older version of your page. On Windows you can press ‘Ctrl+F5’ which will clear the cache just for the page you’re on.

In reply to: [Mountain Creek] Comment ballonI must say that creating a child can be complex the first time you do it but once you’ve done 1 it’s easy to do the next.
There’s an awesome plugin I use called Orbisius Child Theme Creator. It handles everything for you with just one click which, in turn, saves you a lot of time.
Of course if you’d rather not create one, just be sure to keep a backup of your theme’s directory, or at the very least the files you have edited. You should update themes as they can provide you with new features and bug fixes from a previous version. I will also note that if you update your WordPress installation and do not keep your theme updated, you may find your theme becomes incompatible.
I wish you every success,
Regards,
