In reply to: [WP Google Review Slider] Can’t create new templates after 14.2 updateOk, will try latest version again. BTW I installed v14.1 and had no problem creating/editing/saving new templates, so looks like something up with v14.2 and v14.3… will keep you posted. Thanks

In reply to: [WP Google Review Slider] Can’t create new templates after 14.2 updateNo. I tried both check and uncheck one review on mobile option and leave all other settings as default, and it does not save template either way.

In reply to: [WP Google Review Slider] Can’t create new templates after 14.2 updateI just tested it after updating deactivating/reactivating plugin. Still unable to create a new template. Using the default settings on template and trying to save the template as name “default” click on save as template button… returns to templates dashboard page and no template has been created. Have tried this about 20 times, same thing. Using latest version of WordPress, PHP 8.2, otherwise error free cPanel fast server, and Blocksy free theme. Happens in Firefox and Chrome browser. I had no problem creating new templates before the last round of updates pre 14.2 and WP core most recent update. Thanks
That is understandable but maybe you could tweak the CSS so that if we choose to display one row with three columns… small screen mobile view should be one row showing one column/slider instead of three reviews stacked on top of each other as it is now. In other words make it responsive to different screen sizes.

In reply to: [Imsanity] Causes JS loading error w/ other pluginsHi. Yes, sorry. Looks like the issue is back and Imsanity not the conflict cause. Thanks for the heads up on object cache. Will investigate that. Have been trying to “optimize” site with object cache Redis via a few popular wordpress cache plugins like W3 Total Cache, etc. Maybe that was the issue. I disabled cache plugins but left the Redis cPanel option and modules enabled, seems unlikely but perhaps that’s an issue. Anyway thanks for following up. Imsanity is a great plugin. Thanks!
Sounds good. Look forward to it. Thanks for the update.
Wow. That is weird. Initially removed Imsanity plugin and error went away. Now, it’s back again. So, testing continues.

No problem. Already did.

Sorry, link to plugin that causes conflict – Imsanity
Hi. It looks like there was a conflict with the Imsanity plugin that was causing the JS loading errors which broke the ability to enable/disable the popups.
We disabled the Imsanity plugin and the errors went away and we were able to retain the enable/disable setting on the toggle for each popup.
When we click on green on/off toggle buttons it is having no effect.
When we see list of popups that we have created, we see the enable/disable green toggle, and when we click on one to enable or disable the popup, it appears to change (the page does not refresh (Ajax?)) but when we refresh the page (list of the popups) the state enable/disable has not been saved. If we open a popup individually to edit it and change the toggle enable/disable and save the popup, when we return to the main list of popups page, the state has not been saved.
I will have to recreate it on a test server because do not want to share private info from an active site with traffic. Will submit a support ticket after some further testing if not resolved.
Aha. Appreciate the suggestion, but based on the user reviews for the troubleshooting plugin, it looks safer and easier to just clone the site to a private server for manual testing.
I simply can’t imagine I am the first user who has bought this JS error issue to your attention.
Have a feeling it’s an issue with AJAX not working correctly. When we click on green on/off toggle buttons it is having no effect. Maybe if there were an option to disable the AJAX admin UI and just have normal page-loading to edit/save popups.
Using one of the most popular and awesome free themes out there – Blocksy. We have a short list of plugins that should be easy to test, nothing crazy. All mainstream well rated.
Seems like you guys should have a error log option enable/disable in your plugin settings so we can just copy and paste the info for your devs for evaluation.

In reply to: [Blocksy Companion] php warning with latest blocksy companion updateI cleared the error log before the update and have not seen any new related PHP warnings since. I will keep you posted if I see any PHP warnings in future. Thank you as always for fast friendly support.
Thanks we followed your instructions. It worked. There appear to be no more PHP warnings related to W3 Total Cache for now. Will keep you posted if we see any more. p.s. before we disabled/deleted the W3 plugin we unchecked all of the Enable options for cache on the main settings page. Not sure if this makes any difference or not. Some article about this issue suggested it.
Also: In this case, there was no issue with htaccess left over code remnants from W3.

In reply to: [Blocksy Companion] php warning with latest blocksy companion updateGreat, thanks. By the way the PHP version cPanel I am using when seeing this warning is 8.2 – can send screenshots of cPanel extensions enabled or options config if needed via private message.
