In reply to: [Twenty Twelve] Twenty Twelve Theme: Width in IE8I never intended it to mean that you told me to do something that “broke” it, I am sorry if it came off sounding like that!!! Obviously, I screwed it up and therefore it quit working once I started editing jetPack.
Thank you all for your help 🙂

In reply to: [Twenty Twelve] Twenty Twelve Theme: Width in IE8zeaks, I truly appreciate all of your help. I wish I could say that worked, but it didn’t 🙁 At first, it actually “broke” my Firefox, but I got that working again. But, nothing I do fixes the ie problem.
This is the code I added to jetpack CSS:
/* .ie .site { margin: 0 auto; max-width: 560px; max-width: 48.571428571rem; overflow: hidden; } .ie .site-content { float: left; width: 65.104166667%; } */Any other ideas?
Thank you!!

In reply to: [Twenty Twelve] Twenty Twelve Theme: Width in IE8Thanks Zeaks, you are correct, it is within @media queries.
Probably a dumb question, but am I supposed to add the conditional like this?<!--[if gte IE 8]> <style> body .site { padding: 0 40px; padding: 0 2.857142857rem; margin-top: 18px; margin-top: 1.428571429rem; margin-bottom: 48px; margin-bottom: 3.428571429rem; box-shadow: 0 2px 6px rgba(100, 100, 100, 0.3); </style> <![endif]-->I tried that and it isn’t working still… so not sure what else to try.

In reply to: Missing Link in Password Reset EmailThanks, Chad. I don’t think the issue is with the WP-Members plugin, just wanted to let it be known we are using that plugin (in case it may have caused a conflict).
I do think the problem is stemming from the email content type, but I do not know where/how to change it. Think it is indeed in the wp-login.php file that I need to change the email content type to HTML, but I do not know how to do it and don’t want to screw it up. Any ideas how to change that?
Thanks!
Done.
Figured if someone answered the above person’s request, it would help us both.Does anyone have a fix for this yet?
We are using WP-Members and I think it is because the plugin is changing the email content type and that is why no link is showing up in the Forgot Password email. However, I do not know how to/where to change this, IF that is indeed the issue.
Would appreciate any help!! Thanks!

In reply to: Mobile site redirect?Nevermind, I found a plugin that worked!!! MobileESP worked perfectly. I downloaded it, installed on my desktop site to redirect to mobile site (works!) and then they gave me the info I had been looking for on their FAQ page (yeah!):
Added this to Switch to Full site link: /?view_full_site=true
Worked like a charm!!

In reply to: Mobile site redirect?Richard, thank you but I still could not find any answers. I did find something by Googling, that I thought would work (http://www.squidoo.com/php-mobile-redirect), but it did not work in either my index.php or header.php file.
So, after many many hours, headaches and one very frustrated customer, I am still no where. I have no idea how to get mobile users to view the desktop site, where the redirect doesn’t keep pointing them back to the mobile site. Anyone ??!

In reply to: [Plugin: Cart66 Lite] Checkout button not workingI kinda have it working, Not the way I’d prefer, but its better than nothing.
What I found out is that I did not have the IPN setup on our PayPal site. I entered the info in our cart66 settings into our paypal account profile/business tools. Then, I made sure the right shortcode [cart] was on cart page and [cart] and [checkout_paypal] are on checkout page.
Sadly, our customers will have to click on checkout twice. The first time, it just refreshes the page with the PayPal payment button. Then, they click the PayPal button and it takes them to the PayPal site. The older versions of cart66 lite did NOT require them to click Checkout twice. They clicked it once and it launched Paypal. Wish it would still do that…
But, at least we got it working!

In reply to: [Plugin: Cart66 Lite] Checkout button not workingI am having the same issue on two different sites. I have one site I’ve been using this plugin on successfully for over a year and all settings are the same.
So, I also could use an answer as to why the checkout button is not redirecting to PayPal’s website to process payments.
Hopefully we actually get some help here 🙂
Thank you, that worked perfectly! I gave each page a number, so I could determine their location without needing those other options thru plugin. Appreciate your help!!

In reply to: Stumper??Cubecolour: I do not have our theme or custom menus setup yet, or I would post a link. Your idea seems perfect, I will give it a try to see if I can figure it out. Or, will post back if I can’t. Thank you!
Thank you, WPyogi, will read through that info as well!!
Having the same trouble. Their FAQ says it works without the parent, but we know better. 🙂
Anyone have any ideas?
Sorry, I should clarify: my mobile site redirect works thanks to this plugin… BUT, I cannot switch back to full site as it always redirects back to mobile site. So, anyone on mobile CANNOT view desktop version as it constantly loops back to m.mydomain.com
Thank you 🙂
