Hi Erfo,
in the new 1.8 release out today, the post thumbnail or the first image is now added for each most read post, if you enable the “show post thumbs” option in the widget configuration.Your request was slightly different, so we’re working to make it usable also with external images.

In reply to: [Really Simple Twitter Feed Widget] "/ R" problemHi all,
this plugin is based on Twitter API version 1, that will be deleted in a few months, on March 2013. Unfortunately the new Twitter API, version 1.1, is based on a more closed approach, so it won’t be possible anymore for us to provide any “really simple” Twitter widget for WordPress. Also, it’s more difficult for us to give support for the Twitter Widgets in this situation 🙁Hi all,

In reply to: [Really Simple Share] How to use Facebook recommend instead of Like ?Hi firestorm,
go to the “Settings->Really simple share” menu, then select “recommend” on the “button text” setting in the “Facebook Like button options” box.Hi isign4jc,
some javascript code is not loaded, it seems something is missing in your template files. You can try to enable/disable the “put the scripts at the bottom of the body” checkbox in the plugin options page.Hi semidivine,
we tried ajax loading, but this is heavy on page load time … may you try to purge your cache system regularly, like every 4 hours?Hi all,
the Fatal Error is fixed in the new plugin 1.3.11 version out today … these days the Twitter service is unstable, causing some errors when retrieving recent tweets. We’re still working on a better way to store correct data and discard errors.Hi cassiehibbertdesign,
we’ll still working on Debug info for different types of errors; your case looks like a Rate limit error … can you tell us your website url?Happy to hear this 🙂 Also, the missing protocol in the iframe source is a way for being consistent over websites using different protocols: this way should load the appropriate iframe both in http and https sites.
Hi allenrowand,
we’ve checked on different configurations, the buttons show fine everytime on your website. May you try some tests outside your actual network?Ok, as a last thought you can try, in your environment, to empty the “Show buttons in these pages” option and call the function:
<?php echo really_simple_share_publish(); ?>
inside the template loop, where you want to show them … this way every mess with “apply_filters” and shortcodes should be avoided. For more info read the plugin FAQ.Hi all,
the new 1.3.10 release of the plugin, out today, adds a “Show debug info” option. Please update the plugin and check the option, this way a detailed error message should appear instead of “No Public Tweets”. If not, try to reload the page until the error shows up. Then, paste the error here so we can troubleshoot it!
