In reply to: My homepage won't updateNeoTechnomad,
Thank you very much for your attempt to help me. Unfortunately, your solution did not work. It took away the message that I copied them my original post,, but whenever I go to my homepage at: http://www.4wheeledlefty.com , everything still reverts back to my old theme, and is very scrambled. It is hardly readable.
However, when I put up a new post, the only way I can access the new post is to click on the hyperlink for that particular post. Then my new theme shows up and everything seems to be okay from that end. When I click on the title of my blog, it takes me back to a scrambled page that seems to be my old theme. It also shows my latest post as September 5, even though I posted a couple of days ago..

In reply to: Homepage won't update to show my current postmiki,
I have also tried deactivating all of my plug-ins, but to no avail. My homepage still doesn’t update to show the latest post. At this point, I am looking for another theme that has the same features as my current theme. So far, I haven’t had any luck in finding one.
I am seriously considering changing to a different theme, because I tried writing the creators of my current theme (Asteroids), but I do can’t seem to get any support. It’s possible that this theme is no longer supported.

I tried deactivating on plug-ins, and then reactivating them one by one. My homepage still does it update with the latest post.

In reply to: Three major problems I'm having with my blogI’m still having the problem where my homepage doesn’t show my latest post on my homepage. However, if I go to my dashboard, select “recently posted, then select the post, then click on “view post”, it takes me to the post. If I click on the title to my blog, it takes me back to my homepage, which still doesn’t show my latest post.
I don’t know what’s going on, and I can’t seem to fix the problem.

I deactivated my cash plug-in as you suggested, but I still have the same three problems I had before.

In reply to: Trouble with functions.phpMatthew,
The problem seems to have been resolved. Reinstalling WordPress 4.3 seems to have fixed the problem.
Thank you very much for your help.

I know this may sound stupid, but where do I click to go to the page where I can reinstall WordPress 4.3?

Unfortunately, I did not have a backup, at least not one that is recent.

No, I wasn’t. Any one of them that seemed to cause the problem, I left deactivated. I will try reinstalling WordPress 4.3.

In reply to: Trouble with functions.phpMatthew,
I deactivated all of my plug-ins, and that seemed to help. As I tried reactivating them, the issue became back and I tried to localize the plug-in that might be causing this problem.
I tried changing themes by previewing them, but the problem showed up on all of them. I really don’t know what to do.
