In reply to: [Interactive Image Map Plugin - Draw Attention] Hotspots do not appearNo we don’t currently have an image mapping plugin active.
I’ve always used macromedia fireworks for things like this, so it’s new territory for an old school designer LOL.
I just sent you a login (It will come from wordpress’s automatic user mailer).
If you can’t find it, please let me know.
I’m curious to see what you learn.
No, I don’t see that it’s full width, so I’m still working on that one. Perhaps I need to get with the theme developer on that one. Ideally, I want it to stretch across fully, like the slider does.
Thank you in advance for your response –

In reply to: [Interactive Image Map Plugin - Draw Attention] Hotspots do not appearIt’s also not going full-width, even though I have the theme set this way.
The theme is Vantage.

Is there an answer for this?
Benjamin,
Options 2 and 3 do not appear on the screen. This is the issue that I’ve been describing.
We really need some help here, because I’ve re-installed a fresh copy at least 3 times.
In fact, all the add-ons are installed in plugins, but only 3 show up in this location: Events > Settings > Add-ons >
Benjamin suggested I do the following on another post elsewhere.
It seems that there is also a problem with CSS, so please do this first: Dashboard -> Events -> Theme Options and hit Save Options.
This has helped the calendar to appear, but hasn’t fixed the front end submissions.
If a moderator sees this, would you please edit out the license number in the post above? It’s actually an incorrect number, so it won’t work for anyone. Still, that’s unethical that I posted it – I must have thought I was on their private support board. Sorry about that 🙂
Anyone reading with similar issues, please continue on this post: https://wordpress.org/support/topic/license-number-missing-front-end-submission-addons-missing?replies=3#post-7858873
THANK YOU for your reply – I didn’t receive the notification for it 🙁
Your fix has helped the calendar appear, but I still don’t see the place to enter the license or to set up settings for front end submissions.
Any other ideas to make this work?
This calendar has been down for weeks. I have installed, reinstalled, installed reinstalled, cleared cache, tried everything.
Can you please help???
This is our license number

Can you take a look please? Here is the correct link: http://houstontxgalleriaapartments.com/residents/calendar/
It’s really a problem for the client. We are using version Version 2.3.4. Are there any updates we need to implement? I see no updates in wordpress. But this is the PRO version, so please tell us how to get necessary updates for the pro version.
Thank you.

In reply to: [EWWW Image Optimizer] Virus found virustotal.comWhat version of optipng from sourceforge is used in the plugin? Because they are saying that a previous fix didn’t work (?)
Directly below is posted here:
Security information
A use-after-free vulnerability in the palette reduction code has been discovered in the versions 0.7, 0.7.1 and 0.7.2. If you use any of these versions, please upgrade to version 0.7.5 at your earliest convenience.
(A fix was previously issued in version 0.7.3, but that one, ironically, failed to address the option -fix. Many thanks to Gynvael Coldwind and Mateusz Jurczyk for the report!)If you use the opngreduc module programmatically, ensure that you are using the latest version.

I’d like to find out what version it is, to decide whether I should remove the executable until the next update. Any way to learn what the version is?This is a great plugin by the way. Couldn’t live without it 🙂
The re-install of wordpress did remove the above errors – Bravo! I was happy to see this, because I went back and tried the install of NextGEN again. (I’m really looking for a drag and drop ordering method).
Unfortunately I’ve been around this loop 3 times, ruling this and that out, with no success. The install brings me the wsod every time. There must be some kind of conflict with one of my plugins, but unfortunately all current plugins are necessary.
If you can think of any other way we can get NextGEN working on our site, I’d appreciate it. Otherwise, I’ll continue my search elsewhere.
Thanks!
Thank you for your response – I’ll do it 🙂
No issues have occurred with any plugins until I installed and then removed Nextgen. The error directly calls it on the first line:
Warning: fopen(/home/username/public_html/wp/wp-content/plugins/nextgen-gallery/nggallery.php) [function.fopen]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/username/public_html/wp/wp-includes/functions.php on line 4305
So I was scratching my head……..Why would wordpress still be looking for something no longer there. Thanks again, I’m certain a re-install will fix it.
Can anyone help please? The client wants to make the site live, but we are suddenly stuck with these errors.
I deleted nextGen plugin entirely, yet I still have this error code. Should I replace functions.php with original wordpress file? What kind of changes did NextGEN install do to functions.php?
Thanks in advance for anyone’s response.
Just to report this resolved, a file must have become corrupt during transfer. I FTP’d the files again and now we are seeing ALL options.
Thanks –
