Hotspots do not appear

Hello, do you know why it’s not working here?

It’s also not going full-width, even though I have the theme set this way.
The theme is Vantage.
Hi there! Sorry that you’re having troubles. Do you by chance have another image mapping plugin activated on the site? Sometimes we’ve seen some conflicts with those. If you have another one, can you try deactivating it to see if that fixes it?
If that’s not the case, can you please contact us at support@tylerdigital.com with a login we could use to go in and do more troubleshooting?
As far as full-width, I do see the Draw Attention box filling up the available width for the page. Is that an issue you already sorted out?
No we don’t currently have an image mapping plugin active.
I’ve always used macromedia fireworks for things like this, so it’s new territory for an old school designer LOL.
I just sent you a login (It will come from wordpress’s automatic user mailer).
If you can’t find it, please let me know.
I’m curious to see what you learn.
No, I don’t see that it’s full width, so I’m still working on that one. Perhaps I need to get with the theme developer on that one. Ideally, I want it to stretch across fully, like the slider does.
Thank you in advance for your response –
HeatherI’ve just found that there is no “true” full screen width in this theme, so I’ll use CSS if I can. (Full-screen template only refers to “no side bar”)
Hi Heather!
It looks like the issue comes from the jQuery Updater plugin, which is replacing the version of jQuery we expect to be there with jQuery 3.0, which is brand new and just recently released. Are you able to disable that plugin and use the standard jQuery that’s bundled with WordPress?
We’ll need to go in and get our code ready for the new version of jQuery at some point, but we definitely didn’t expect to need to do it before it was bundled with WordPress.
Thank you so much for quick reply!
One more question, which apparently the jquery deactivation didn’t address – Do you know why the image is not responsive? I think it should be, shouldn’t it?
Hello Heather!
When I resize your page, the image resizes with it, so the responsive feature seems to be working just fine. If you’re seeing something else, can you let me know what device, browser, and operating system you’re using so we can troubleshoot?
How very strange – I tried incognito and now I *am* noticing the responsiveness.
Natalie – thank you so much for your thorough help. It’s been a pleasure.
I’ll be purchasing pro unlimited shortly 😉
I’m glad it’s working for you. Just let us know if you need help with anything else.
