Yes, the plugin admin can be slow on sites with a high number of taxonomy terms (lots of categories, tags, attributes, etc). This correlates with sites that store a huge catalog of products.

A fix for this is definitely in the todo list for WCPT. An update will land end of this month for PRO with this fix (and several exclusive facilities). That will be followed by an update for Lite as well beginning of next month.

This is the first time I am receiving a report of a critical error due to ‘wp_redirect’, which is a standard wp function and normally does not cause any issue in the script. That is, unless the plugin is conflicting with another module on your site – plugin / theme / custom code / server setting.

Thank you for clarifying your query further. What you want is a standard cropping among the product images. This way each of the images will have the same height and width, thereby providing a uniform view. For this, you need to:
(a) ensure that your product images are cropped to the right width and height. This is automatically managed by wordpress and woocommerce which crop your store cropped versions of your uploaded images automatically. But you can also use other image cropping plugins to manage your image sizes.
(b) in your Product Image element’s settings, use the very first option ‘Select image file size’ to pick the correct crop size for your images. Now you can have all the product images displayed in the same size.

The Style > width property is only going to manage the display width of the image. It cannot crop the image / change ratio on the fly. WCPT does not manage image cropping, however it lets you pick the right crop size and you can leverage another image cropping plugin to have your images transformed to that size.

This sounds like a strange issue indeed as it is not coming up at my end, nor is it reported by other users.

Perhaps the plugin faces a conflict with another plugin / theme / custom code on your site. Or it could be a simple settings issue that is not apparent to me from the outside. I will be happy to check on it for you and resolve this asap.

1.If this is in reference to the Date element in your columns then use the format: F, jS Y which will convert the timestamp into your desired date format. You can find info on PHP date formats here. If you are trying to get the date from a custom field, then unfortunately formatting that date option is not available right now (this option is coming soon), but if you are using the PRO version I will be happy to setup a quick custom solution for you. 2. WCPT PRO has the option for providing download links via the Custom Field element. You just need to have the url of the download file in a custom field on each product and then setup the Custom Field element in the table to provide the download link (PRO only).

Hi Jomo,

In your table’s settings > Navigation > create a ‘Category Filter’ element and a ‘Search’ element. Now, the search element will limit the search results to the category selected in the Category Filter. If you face any issue with this please write in to wcproducttable@gmail.com with details so we can discuss further easily with screenshots.

WCPT PRO offers a special product search shortcode that you can place anywhere on your site including in the widgets area. This search box has a category dropdown on it so that user can target the search to a particular category if they wish. Please view the search doc for more info on this. When the user conducts a search via this input box they are taken to the archive page for that product category on your site and the search results are limited to that category.

You can use the archive override facility in WCPT PRO which lets you replace the product grids on your shop / search / category pages with product tables of your choice.

The result is that the user’s search results are displayed in a table, on the category page they selected, and limited to that category only.
