Thank you for using WCPT!
Glad to hear the issue is resolved.
Please let me know if anything else comes up.

KartikHi Rachael,
Thank you for your query.
Yes, this facility is available in WCPT PRO (premium version of the plugin) along with dozens of other exclusive features (see highlights).
When you are using WCPT PRO you have access to additional shortcode attributes for the plugin. This includes the category_required=”true” category_required_message=”Please select a category first” shortcode attributes that are relevant to your stated requirement.
For further details please check the question “How do I show products only when a category or specific attribute is selected in the navigation?” in the plugin FAQs.
Regards,
KartikPS – Marking as resolved as I think the above information should be sufficient, but please feel free to re-open the topic if you need further clarity on it.
Hi Michiel,
Thank you for writing in with your query.
What you wish to accomplish is going to require –
(1) WCPT PRO (premium version of the plugin) as it contains some facilities that help with such custom integration.
(2) Custom work depending on how complicated is your setup (unless you have a wordpress developer onboard and can handle this in-house).Wordpress forums only permit discussions regarding the hosted plugin. So neither of the above two can be discussed here as per their policy. Therefore, please write in directly to the plugin support for prompt assistance with this requirement.

Hi Robbie,
Yes, you can change the styling of the Cart Widget as well as its content.
Please go to wp-admin > product tables > settings > cart widget.
Here you will find the options you are looking for.
Please let me know if you have further questions about it.
Regards,
KartikHi,
Thank you for your query.
The ‘Availability’ element helps you achieve this.
This element is provided exclusively in the PRO version of WCPT. You can see other PRO features here.
Please let me know if you have further questions.

KartikHi,
Thank you for your query. I will be happy to help you achieve what you need from the plugin.
However, I am not sure I have understood your question correctly. So please correct me if I am wrong: You want to show the categories in separate product tables, instead of having products with different categories showing up in the same table?
For that you need to create separate product tables. You can achieve this easily using the shortcode attribute category=”category name”.
nav_category is a meant for a very different situation. You can use it to change the category options displayed in the table’s category dropdown. So it is unrelated to what you require.
In case I have not understood your correctly please write in with more details to the support email wcproducttable@gmail.com and I will help you further.

In reply to: [Product Table & List Builder For WooCommerce] Out of Stock not displayedHi,
Thank you for your query.
Normally this facility works without any issues, however it is unable to work under two circumstances:
1. [more common] Another plugin / theme / custom script is indiscriminately modifying frontend product queries on the site, thereby not letting WCPT function normally.
2. [less common] A cache plugin is active on the site and blocking the table from getting re-built after its settings are changed or when the stock status of relevant products change.
The issue can certainly be resolved. Please follow the ‘Debugging Steps’ listed on the support page and I will take it on from there.

In reply to: [Product Table & List Builder For WooCommerce] Additional query args:Hi,
Thank you for your query.
The ‘Additional query args’ is actually an advanced facility meant only for developers familiar with WP_Query.
Instead, you can use shortcode attributes to conveniently modify the table query via the shortcode.
The shortcode attribute you need to use in this case is include_hidden=”true” which is provided in the PRO version of the plugin. It is used as follows:
[product_table id=”1234″ include_hidden=”true”]I hope this information helps! Please let me know if you have further questions.
Regards,
KartikGlad to hear this! 🙂
Please let me know if there is anything else I can help with.

KartikHi,
Thank you for using WCPT and writing in with your query!
Yes, clear feedback regarding the stock limitation is important. Accordingly, the next version of this plugin v2.2.0 is going to provide such feedback when customer enters a quantity greater than permitted.
This has already been implemented for the PRO version of the plugin which receives more frequent updates. You can see this facility working on the demo site.
As you can see in the demo, if you try adding excess quantity for any product in the first table a tooltip will appear mentioning the max permitted quantity. This will also work with ‘min’ and ‘step’ rules for sites implementing those. You will also be able to customize the message in the warning tooltip.
Furthermore, in the upcoming update for PRO and Lite the add to cart button will also be disabled when the quantity entered breaks any of the conditions.
I hope this information helps! Please let me know if you have any questions.

In reply to: [Product Table & List Builder For WooCommerce] Undefined index: modalsHi,
Thank you for using WCPT!
This error comes up if the plugin has not correctly loaded its overall settings during activation. To fix it go to wp admin > product tables > settings > click on ‘reset settings’. This reloads the overall settings of the plugin, but it doesn’t delete your product tables.
The above mentioned fix only needs to be applied one time and the error will not come up again. This error will be permanently fixed in the next version of the plugin.
I hope this information helps! For any other queries please feel free to write into wcproducttable@gmail.com
Regards,
Kartik
