Thanks.
So, if I understand correctly, there is no way to exclude a specific category for public subscribers, that without affecting the Registered subscribers too?

In reply to: WordPress on Windows Server 2012 problemsA clarification: we are NOT using a virtual machine, we have a physical server.
Do you have some insight on this particular configuration?
Are there any additional components that need to be installed?

In reply to: WordPress on Windows Server 2012 problemsThanks for the reply! I switched to twentytwelve, but the top menu was mis-configured again… Switched back to Avada – just not working properly.
I installed the theme on an Unix server – everything worked properly and was displayed just the way it needs to be.
It has to be Windows server related. Avada uses a lot of Ajax scripts which may not be working properly in this set up. But it is really hard for me to investigate the issue… Is there anything about WP on Windows Server 2012 that I can point the IT to?

In reply to: Moving several WP blogs into one. Thanks, Seacoast! Much appreciated!
For scenario #1, when all content is in one blog, is there a way to assign each separate blog’s posts a different category on import? For example, one blog is about food, so all posts will be in a category Food.
Then, I can assign a role to contributing authors to post/edit only that category.
Is that doable?
