In reply to: [Easing Slider] Centering your slideshowNot to be a party pooper, but I like to prefer to avoid deprecated markup where possible. I suppose I’ll think up some convoluted css to fix it.
edit: Probably not as simple as putting a div with a style attribute, since all the Riva Slider css is marked important. Any chance you can change the following css? It should keep it centered.

In reply to: [Easing Slider] Images do not load, keep seeing loading icon and blank pageI think a problem lies in the fact that when RivaSlider deletes old images, it doesn’t remove the URL attached to it. I noticed after I deleted the original slides I’d get phantom boxes in the image list before they’d disappear. Hope that info helps.

In reply to: [Easing Slider] Images do not load, keep seeing loading icon and blank pageI would recommend you make an occasional backup for these sort of scenarios. Here’s the copy I had saved. You’ll have to delete Riva Slider, then copy this into your directory, yadda yadda. In hindsight it should’ve been a .zip, alas.

When I upgraded from Easing Slider to Riva Slider Lite, my current slide images remained. So I deleted them from the Riva Slider options and proceeded to add new images to the slider and start fresh. It’s at this point that it broke.
What I noticed in the Firebug console was that Riva Slider was STILL requesting the old Easing Slider images even though I’d supposedly removed them from the image list. I did the following to fix it;
1. Remove Riva Slider Lite, re-install the old Easing Slider.
2. Remove all the image URLs from the image list in the Easing Slider options.
3. Save settings.
4. Remove Easing Slider, install Riva Slider Lite fresh. (or just upgrade)Problem is resolved. So my advice is to remove all slider images before upgrading.

In reply to: [Easing Slider] Images do not load, keep seeing loading icon and blank pageI can confirm this issue exists for me as well. Was looking forward to using it too. Was fine on Easing Slider though so not sure what gives. I’ll fiddle around in the meantime.
edit: seems to work on a blank slate wp site. Must be a conflict on my end.
