But for site1, just a thought, is there any file I can manually change just to go live again, I dont’t care right now about permalinks view, just want to go live. But since I restored a backup and it doesn’t work, do I need to do anything at GoDaaddy?

Yes. At first I thought it’s because of my single page theme, but when I changed permalinks in MAMP everything works perfectly.

My host is on Windows, but anyway, I created one for any case and still doesn’t work.
Do you have a backup copy of site2? Does your host?
I have a backup from FTP, but what do you mean by host? Do they backing up files?
