In reply to: [Pricing Deals for WooCommerce] Buy 2, get cheaper item 30% off issueHi,
1. the deal is not being processed by batches of 3 rather than 2, but by the whole cart, based on the way the rule is set up. So if 10 items were purchased, the cheapest of 10 would be discounted.2. The batches of 2 idea would mean that the plugin would need to sequentially isolate the counted products (in this case 2), sort for cheapest, and then apply the discount to the cheapest within that sub-group. Unfortunately, that’s not the way the plugin is set to apply cheapest rules.

In reply to: [Pricing Deals for WooCommerce] Buy 2, get cheaper item 30% off issueHi,
Thanks for using the plugin.A cheapest deal = cheapest in the selected population, but not ‘as they are added to the cart’.
Your deal applies to the whole cart, so the deal sorts the whole cart by price and applies the deal to the cheapest item.
Please specify more precisely how what you want differs from the above.

In reply to: [Pricing Deals for WooCommerce] Discount not correct on cart pageHi,
Looks like another module is getting in the way (note the very odd ‘sdsdsd’ in the Discount column of the discount reporting).Suggest a *full module conflict test*:
To track down a module conflict, please follow these steps ** PRECISELY **:
(1) Install and activate a maintenance mode plugin (if desired)
(2) Then, DO ALL (*at the same time*):
(-) do a full site backup!
(-) deactivate ***all*** plugins except Woo, my plugin (and maintenance mode plugin)
(-) ** switch to a clean default theme like 2019 **
— (This removes all other possible conflicts.)
(-) turn off all deals except the one we are examining.(3) ** test **
(4) if good, add 1 module back in. ** Retest **
(5) Repeat until conflict identified.** This test depends on following the outlined steps fully. **
Best,
Vark(PS – If you do have a module conflict, it will likely boil down to choosing between the 2 conflicting modules…)

In reply to: [Pricing Deals for WooCommerce] Has Anyone Got it Working Right?Hi,
No worries. If the discount is not carrying through to the totals,
You likely have a memory, caching or module conflict issue.(A) Set your memory to a minimum of **512mb** , the de-facto memory standard (or greater!)
(** Double-check ** the following, even if already set to 512mb.)
(*) Memory should be *explicitly* set in *both* the php.ini (host) file,
and in the wp-config.php file .
– call your HOST to **Confirm or Set** the explicit setting of 512mb of memory in php.ini
– update your wp-config.php file with a statement like this: define(‘WP_MEMORY_LIMIT’, ‘512M’);(B) Caching:
Do you have a caching plugin (W3 Total Cache, etc)
– If so, please **clear the caching plugin cache**. Test. **Turn off caching**. Test.
– If that isn’t it, carry on…
(Pricing Deals is happy, however, with ** WP Super Cache: by Automattic ** , which seems to keep up better )(C) if that’s not it , suggest a *full module conflict test*:
To track down a module conflict, please follow these steps ** PRECISELY **:
(1) Install and activate a maintenance mode plugin (if desired)
(2) Then, DO ALL (*at the same time*):

In reply to: [Pricing Deals for WooCommerce] Has Anyone Got it Working Right?Hi,
Thanks for using the plugin.Support is always available both in this forum and in my website support channel:
https://www.varktech.com/support/That being said, I’d like to confirm the issues you’re reporting…
1. you’re having an issue creating a ‘buy 1 get 1 free rule’
– if so, an example is here:
https://wordpress.org/plugins/pricing-deals-for-woocommerce
FAQ Section
“Buy 1 get next 1 at a Discount”2. you’re having a discount display issue
– is the discount not carrying through to the totals, or is it that you’d like to have a separate broken-out amount in the totals currently not being shown ?Best,

In reply to: [Pricing Deals for WooCommerce] Pricing Discount Need Plug in Pay 2 – get 3Hi,
Through Pricing Deals you can definitely set up the discount you want.
However, the popup messaging is not a part of Pricing Deals.
If you want that specific function, why not email the site owner of the example site and ask how that was accomplished.

In reply to: [Pricing Deals for WooCommerce] Buy one Get one 50% OFFHi,
What you are describing can be thought of as a bulk deal.
https://wordpress.org/plugins/pricing-deals-for-woocommerce
“How to set up BULK PRICING / PRICING TABLES”
– buy 2-3 get $5 off
– buy 4-5 get $10 off
etc

In reply to: [Pricing Deals for WooCommerce] Support for Loco translate?Hi,
From my cursory inspection of the Loco Translate requirements, it’s looking for a PO file. A full PO file is provided with the Pricing Deals plugin, in the /languages folder. I’d suggest a query to the Loco Translate plugin author, describing the PO file location and the issue.

VarkHi,
Thanks for trying out the plugin. What you’re seeing is not an error, but a Notice. Notices and warnings can occur, and do not affect the function. If you’re not in debug mode, they are never displayed. Test with confidence.
