In reply to: Problem posting new postsdid you change anything in the wp-config file?
i know its a pain but backup your mysql and install it from scratch, a file must be missing or a permission is wrong of a file.

In reply to: Problem posting new postscan you try to delete a post and see if it works,
first extract a site xml from wp-admin/export.php
than delete a post, to see if the admin has any database interaction at all
if it can delete posts, than maybe try another browser, or try disabling all of your plugins, you have to update your plugins to new versions because the 2.6 has some core changes

Select the database the used by the WordPress blog that the password wanted to be reset.
Locate the wp_users table (normally the last row), and then click on the Browse icon under Action column on the same line.Locate the user_login which the password want to be recovered and reset, and then click on the Edit button in front of the line.
Under the user_pass field, delete everything in the corresponding Value field on the same line.
Enter a new desired password (case sensitive) in the now empty Value text box, i.e. NEW PASSWORD
Select MD5 in the Function field drop-down menu.

In reply to: WordPress sites on PS3 (Playstation 3) Browserit depends on the theme that you are using with wordpress
if the theme is ajax intensive and is heavily style-sheeted than the psp browser will have some problems,
the admin side also might not come out too good because it uses some ajaxbut if its a simple theme and you are not doing any admin stuff on the psp than it should be fine

In reply to: Page not workingahh have you tried renaming the articles page to something else, just as a test
in the page edit the permalink of articles to something else, just to see if that makes a difference, i am thinking that there is something like a plugin that uses the name “articles” so its not allowing you to make one, just guessing, try renaming it and see what happens 🙂

In reply to: Page not workingprobably you do not have perma links turned on,
in settingswp-admin/options-permalink.phpchoose one of the structures except defaulttx i am checking it out, but i was thinking more of a simpler aprouch
examplehaving the addresses of the videos in custom fields called, video1, video2, video3, and so on
and having some peice of script that would load all the video”x” fields of the post and create links next to the player that would chnage the flashvars field of the embed codeyeah this is a bit different 🙂
lets say i have video1.flv video2.flv and video3.flv
this is one long show broken into 3 parts
the player starts with video1.flv
i need a “playlist” or part selection, for the restok another 16 hours one week from original date 🙁
