and I need only showed 2 events, but, if exist, show from one category, if not, from other, and etc…. any idea?

I don’t understand this ‘one category per events list/pagination’ (sorry my poor english)
I want order the event list by category, not by date, or at least, mark some especific events to be showed ever the fist.

Yes, looks like the problem is in the Events > Settings > General > User Capabilities
I saw that the administrator don’t have permision to create events, but I try to change it and show me a message saying ‘the events-manager-options can’t be showed’, and now I even I can’t see the options panel 🙁
Any idea?
Even, in some options of the menu, like periodic events, If I can access, say me I have insufficient permissions.
By the way, I don’t know why the shortcode show, in the same font size as the category name, the date of the events. First I saw it shows the name of the month, but I modify the snippet, and this line

But now I have another little problem.
I love the events search bar showed in the events page, but if I paste the code in the default page, First is displayed an event list, and after the list sort by group, duplicated the information, and if I create a new page and past this code:
[event_search_form] [category_events_list_group]I don’t know why, the search form appears below the list, even if I put
[category_events_list_group] [event_search_form]
