Okay, I also deactivated every plugin, 1 at a time, kept clearing the cahce and reloading the general option page, and trying to add the custom field again. Same issue, no matter what.
So then I tried changing the theme to the pre-installed Theme that comes default with WordPress. Same result.
So it must have something to do with the s2member files.
Would it be easier for me to add the custom field directly in the database? if so, where does it store the fields?
I tried just two:
Accountant Personal
Accountant Businessjust to see if it would work. It did not, so then I tried:
Accountant1
Accountant2still it did not work.
I seen someone said to put a / behind it so I tried:Accountant Personal\
Accountant Business\that did not work.
So I tried:Accountant1\
Accountant2\still did not work.
Same errors.also, I tried it in every browser. And this is a new website, not tons of plugins, etc. so not sure how a conflict could be in there if that is what is causing it…

In reply to: Copying wordpress database from one website to anotherI figured it out on my own. was a pain, until I realized how to do it.
export -> open in text editor -> find/replace -> save -> truncate new table -> import file with changes -> worked.

In reply to: Copying wordpress database from one website to anotherOkay, I figured it out, the Admin was id 2
so I logged in with that user.
That worked. I went to users and I see a bunch of accounts, but nothing populated in any of them.
How do I get those account setup right?

In reply to: WordPress wp-admin takes forever for each page load – HELP PleaseOkay, I think I confirmed that mysql is the problem.
I just went into the database and searched in the options table for:
active_pluginsI found the list of plugins that are “active” in there and I see all the ones that wordpress keeps saying it had to make inactive, are still in there.
It is as if there can be no updates to the database.
I checked and the account is not over the quota, so it is not a quota issue, what else may cause it?

In reply to: WordPress wp-admin takes forever for each page load – HELP PleaseThat is all well and good, however, I cannot activate plugins:
Selected plugins activated.
It says they were activated, however, they were not.
it takes over 1 minute for each page to load and I cannot figure out what happened? it is like the mysql is failing to accept updates.
Because no matter how long it takes for a page to load, once it loads, mysql should be updated with the commands it was told to execute.
That theory goes out the window though, because when I change the name of a activated plugin, wordpress does tell me it was forced to deactivate it due to the plugin not being found. Then WP does show it as “inactive” and has the “activate button” there.
That Theory comes back into play when I see that every single time I reload the wp-admin page, it shows me those errors of the plugins not being found, every time, as if they are still active in the database and wordpress was not able to update them to inactive.
So, how can I test if the database is the problem?

In reply to: [Are you robot google recaptcha for wordpress] Gravity Forms SupportI have Gravity Forms, when I had someone build my website, they used their License key, so I don’t have access to support, and they won’t respond to me anymore, so I quit trying about 1 year ago.
The license still works, so I guess they pay for the support.
But I cannot get help, so can someone please help me?My issue is that when I create a form, if I use the Phone field, or a Text one with ANY Input mask, then my form is broke, it won’t display on the page.
it works in the preview, but not on the website.
I’ve used the firefox console to try and find a conflict, but I cannot find one.
My forms are broke on every page where I had phone fields… I tested this a lot, I replaced all of those on several forms with text fields. The forms them worked. When I checked the input mask and put anything, zip, us phone, etc. the forms were broke.
How do I find out WHY?
Thanks.Forum: Fixing WordPress

In reply to: WP 4.0.1 'Status' & 'Visibility' links not working in 'Publish' arI just now installed the new update to 4.1 and that fixed it.
I guess it was a bug in the last update.

Why is it working in Firefox and not in chrome?

In reply to: Rss Feed XML ErrorI found someone that had used this file:
wejnswpwhitespacefix.php… that shared it.
I checked it, no virus, no bad things.Uploaded it and added the line to pull it into the wordpress main index.php file… that seems to have fixed it, but there is no content in my rss feed…
That is another issue, so closing this one.
using “s2member Secure File Browser” plugin, it can handle Custom Capability, I just cannot find the part of the documentation that explains how to do it. Do you know where I can find a tutorial on it?
