Rss Feed XML Error

    I am getting this error:
    error on line 2 at column 6: XML declaration allowed only at the start of the document
    Below is a rendering of the page up to the first error.

    when I try to load my feed.

    I made sure the functions.php file in my theme and in Genesis do not have spaces after the closing php tag: ?>

    The functions.php in Genesis, does not have a closing ?> tag…

    So I figured it was meant to be that way, so I did not add one.

    Can you tell me how to fix this?

    I found someone that had used this file:

    wejnswpwhitespacefix.php… that shared it.
    I checked it, no virus, no bad things.

    Uploaded it and added the line to pull it into the wordpress main index.php file… that seems to have fixed it, but there is no content in my rss feed…

    That is another issue, so closing this one.

    Oh, I was wrong. It is only working in Firefox, not Chrome…

    Why is it working in Firefox and not in chrome?
