The only thing I can think of is that 10 corresponds with the default values set on Settings > Reading for the options Blog pages show at most and Syndication feeds show the most recent

Thought of that already and altered it higher but it doesn’t change the sitemap posts only showing 10.

Very strange issue.

But yes if I leave the server at plugin it is ok, I just can’t use server as the setting.

One quick question, does this server setting (plugin vs wordpress) change the resource usage on my webhost server? Or does it not affect it?

I just spent a while trying to do that unsuccessfully using that plugin.
My chronic illnesses mean I am giving up as it is harder to do this than just do it all manually which does the same thing.

So instead I just did it manually and disabled all plugins, changed to base theme and enabled your plugin alone and still 10 posts. I tried different themes and still 10 posts.

Nothing has changed on my site in the time it went from working for about 9 or so months none stop, to not working at all.
Nothing at all changed, not even a plugin update as I check my site and sitemap is working correctly all the time, and I manually update things so that I know if a update breaks anything, so nothing at all has updated or changed since it went from working to not working.
It just stopped working correctly one day and started showing 10 posts and no plugins/themes/wordpress had updated, it just changed to 10 posts without anything changing my end whatsoever.

And seeing as it still says 10 posts even with all other plugins disabled and even the base theme or any theme, it isn’t a conflict.

Other sitemap plugins work fine as does using “plugin” for server.

Been using wordpress since the early 00’s, around 2007, and never seen anything like this before.

Very strange as it was an update on the day I posted that comment which I updated to.
Very odd!

I always check for updates every day, and it was showing as a new update. How bizarre.

Only thing I can think of is wordpress bugged out and pushed an update that I already had.
I wish I had of taken a screenshot.

Host claims no DB limitations

They just blame PHP 8.2 claiming that is why it isn’t working and won’t help at all
