backwpup stopped working

    Just to add, after added debug true, I get this error at the top of every page

    Deprecated: trim(): Passing null to parameter #1 ($string) of type string is deprecated in /home/vol8_5/hyperphp.com/hp_33866152/htdocs/wp-content/plugins/backwpup/inc/class-option.php on line 328

    Don’t think this would cause the issue as I can see from other forum posts you are aware of this and others have it, but haven’t posted the same issue that I have, so not sure it is related.

    My host just blames PHP 8.2 claiming that is why it isn’t working and won’t help at all

    even WordPress is not fully compatible with PHP 8.2 as you can check here: https://make.wordpress.org/core/handbook/references/php-compatibility-and-wordpress-versions/

    So I would suggest to temproarily downgrade the PHP to 8.0 instead then try again ^^
