In reply to: [WPComplete] WPCompleteThe FREE version only works on pages and posts. The PRO version works on custom post types, yes.
And of course, that’s a great question. Our policy is simple too: if the PRO version doesn’t work on your site, we either figure out a fix or refund you.

In reply to: [WPComplete] WPCompleteHi there, can you be a little more specific? How doesn’t it work? A few of our PRO users use LearnPress, so I need a bit more information.
What could be happening is that LearnPress has changed your content area and the auto-add a button to the lessons may not show (which you can fix in the PRO version because you can use shortcodes).
Let me know though.

In reply to: [WPComplete] Progress Graph showing multiple numbersGood to hear it Kevin. Next time, hit up our support email (from our website) if you’re a PRO user, we reply to support emails faster than we sometimes see messages here.
Glad it all worked out though for you.

In reply to: [WPComplete] Few Question about Hierarchy SupportHi there – Apologies, I’m not sure who bizfound is.
1. For WPComplete, it’s a completion button to add to any page, post or custom content – for reviewing content, you’d have to whatever plugin or WP feature does that.
2. Each training module would be a “course” that has separate progress and completion rates.
3. There’s no reporting on the frontend, just via the WordPress admin interface.
There’s no deans or lecturers possible, as it’s simply managed by WP admins. You can create different courses and assign lessons to the courses. I suggest watching the video here to see how it works: https://wpcomplete.co/
Cheers,

In reply to: [WPComplete] Multi-page conditional contentHey! Great suggestion ๐ There’s currently no feature to enable that, but we’ll consider it for future releases.
What you can do is use course=”” instead, like:
[wpc_completed_content course=”Course Name”]I am a completed course![/wpc_completed_content]
Does that help?

In reply to: [WPComplete] Internal 500 ErrorHi there,
In order to use WordPress in general, but also our plugin, you need to be following the requirements laid out here:
https://wordpress.org/about/requirements/
As you’re using PHP 5.x almost nothing on WP will work for you until you upgrade PHP to 7.2 or greater.

In reply to: [WPComplete] Tracking not workingHi Tes, you’re trying to use PRO features on the FREE versionโyou can’t use shortcodes on FREE. If you have the PRO version, please contact our support as that’s faster than this forum, nerds@wpcomplete.co
But also, tracking only works for the user role you’ve selected. Since it default to track SUBSCRIBER and you’re probably an ADMIN, it won’t track you unless you change it to track ALL USERS.
You also can’t create sub-courses with our plugin, just sibling courses.
Hope that helps,

In reply to: [WPComplete] List of course content plus progress for each sectionHey there Wendy, thanks for your note. Definitely use our support email, as we see those instantly.
In order to do what you’re asking, you’d have to make each page a course, then use the shortcode as follows:
[wpc_progress_in_ratio course=”Course-Name”]
Does that make sense?
Feel free to email nerds@wpcomplete.co for quicker support too ๐

In reply to: [WPComplete] Save Progress to Profilehi andy,
thanks for your question. you can add all sorts of progress visualizations to a student’s profile on your site (i.e. on your site, not in the WP backend).
here are all the progress codes our PRO version has: https://wpcomplete.co/progress-tracking/
as an admin, if you click over to USERS in the WP backend, you can see what their completion status is.
if there’s anything else, let me know!

In reply to: [WPComplete] “Thrive Themes” or “Optimizepress”Hi Robson, thanks for asking. Our plugin works well with most LMS systems, but I don’t think it’d work on a landing page fundamentally, because those are typically for people who aren’t students, and you need to be logged in to use the button and progress bar.
For specific LMSs I suggest Restrict Content Pro. WPC works with Thrive but requires hardcoding some CSS because Thrive strips out our code ๐ We do have several customers using OptimizePress with WPC as well.
Hope that helps! And if you have further questions, I’m happy to reply.
