In reply to: WP-Cron not working in 2.9I think I’m having this problem as well. Was using a plugin and wp-cron actions are not working. I had to call wp-cron.php manually for the plugin to work as well. It used to work before the upgrade to 2.9.
Any fixes for this yet? Thanks!

In reply to: Database Upgrade Required: Not Working (WP 2.9)Thanks jdembowski for the help!
I have found a way to upgrade successfully.
I did a rollback to 2.8.6.
Deactivate all the plugins.
Did a automatic upgrade to 2.9.
This time no database upgrade is required.
Activate all the plugins again and it’s working!Thank you π

In reply to: Database Upgrade Required: Not Working (WP 2.9)I just manage to do a rollback. I don’t think I’ll be doing the upgrade any time soon till someone manage to upgrade it successfully. Seems like there are quite a number of errors around.
Thanks though!

In reply to: Database Upgrade Required: Not Working (WP 2.9)I have this problem as well. Any solutions yet?
I got this error:
Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 33554432 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 524288 bytes) in /home2/…/wp-db.php on line 734
It was fixed after I update the swfobject file to the latest version 2.2 from here.

In reply to: [Plugin: WP Grins Lite] Manually insert smilies in comments field instead?^ Thanks! The smilies will still be automatically inserted into the admin area right? The customisation is only for themes? π

In reply to: [Plugin: WP Grins Lite] Manually insert smilies in comments field instead?Sometimes, the automatic insertion of smilies may not be in the place I want it to be. With a php code, I can manually place it where I want it to be with different CSS classes as well.
It’s mostly for customisation of the themes. π

In reply to: Problems with using Κtergory% in post slugOh, but I’m not table to change the post slug to use category B instead of A other than removing Cat A from the post. Is there anyway I can specify which one I wish to use?
Thanks!

In reply to: [Plugin: Now Reading Reloaded] Save options in admin lead to a blank pageOh I see. I really like Slimbox 2 because it’s a lot faster. The trick now is to:
– Disable Slimbox 2
– Make any changes to options for NRR, options will saved successfully
– Enable Slimbox 2 againThere will be no errors other than the fact that the options cannot be updated. Anyway, I remove the average line in my template because it looks funny. Anyway, might be due to the conflicting plugins causing the weird average count of the books. When the WPlize issue is fixed, maybe that average issue will be fix as well.
For now, I shall continue to use both plugins together (w/o the average stats). Thanks so much for the support help rendered. I look forward to version 6.0 then. Thanks! π
