In reply to: [Plugin: WordPress Wiki] User ProblemIt stopped working with the 2.8.2 upgrade and looks to still not be working in 2.3. Wiki Editors also can not create a post, which is the whole purpose of a Wiki.
I disabled Register Plus and it didn’t help the situation.

In reply to: Subscribers can’t edit profileThe one that notified me of the problem was a new subscriber…He made had a typo in his profile that he was trying to fix. As an Administrator, I can’t edit the profiles either. It says it changed, but it really doesn’t.
I deactivated Register Plus to see if that was the problem, but it wasn’t.

In reply to: Would you build wiki site on WP?I setup WordPress-Wiki on ReptiWiki.com and really like it. It is much more esthetically pleasing in the backend then MediaWiki and I think much easier to use for those not technology-inclined.
Downside is, I wasn’t aware that WordPress-Wiki wouldn’t work with 2.8 and just upgraded the site…So now the stinkin’ thing doesn’t work!

In reply to: WordPress Shopping Cart other than wp e-commerce?Russ, my host tells me that Magento is not permitted on the hosting account that I have with them because I would require a dedicated server. Something about it runs something differently that screws with hosting not on a dedicated server. I don’t quite remember what the reasoning was.
At that, I want one control panel that the client can use instead of two. My clients in general aren’t very technologically inclined, so it just makes things easier.

In reply to: [Plugin: eShop] Display Contents of Shopping Cart anywhere?Ahh. So then it was operating correctly then. I didn’t realize all’s it would do is show a number. I thought it would provide something more. Essentially what you’re saying is that to create a decent sidebar mini cart like thing seen on most eCommerce sites I have to figure it out on my own. I was expecting a plug-and-play PHP script that could just be inserted into the sidebar. I understand now. That was what I was referring to already being available in the readme.

In reply to: [Plugin: eShop] Display Contents of Shopping Cart anywhere? It does nothing but show a zero. I’m sure I’m not the only one who has questioned this (obviously not as someone just posted on this thread 3-4 weeks ago). Most plug-ins have this available in the readme file.
