I uninstalled and quit Mailpoet forever yesterday. Sick of this awful, terrible software and I would never pay them one cent.
Maybe its their sending service. This problem seems almost universal and I feel like a free, unpaid guinea pig tasked with trouble-shooting this buggy MP3 software. Put a “Send Now” button in it. My post notification has been in the outbox for one full day now, with “send immediately when published” selected. Might this be some residual MP2 cross contamination?
Can you manually validate mine, too? My post notifications are not being sent, although the MP3 software says “100% sent!”.
Same problem. Not getting sent even though MP3 says “100% Sent…”
Works for me. Wp4.8.3.

In reply to: [MailPoet - Newsletters, Email Marketing, and Automation] MailPoet 3 feedbackI just need a “Send Now” button. No way will I send a spanking new MP3 post template to my subs before testing it on my own email account. So will you brew me up a “Send Now” button for my Post Notification Emails? I’ll just wait, if you don’t mind :)…
Seriously, I need a Send Now button. This is my second attempt to like MP3 and beta or not, a “Send Now” button should be derigueur in a beta. We all want to test to our own email account before sending untested to our sub database.

In reply to: [MailPoet Newsletters (Previous)] Cron Job not workingCron stopped working. I run whitelabeled through sendgrid and cloudflares name servers, and can send mail manually but my cron job stopped sending mail. I get an email from my host every five mninutes that says this: “/usr/local/cpanel/bin/jailshell: http://www.email.jerrywdavis.com/wp-cron.php?4b1ff880da42228e566ded0841f88282: No such file or directory”
the link cuts off the rest of the cron command, which is this:http://www.email.jerrywdavis.com/wp-cron.php?4b1ff880da42228e566ded0841f88282&action=wysija_cron&process=all
Is it possible that the recent update broke something? I edited the cron command to reflect the sendgrid subdomain (www.email.jerrywdavis.com…) but that failed, too.
SOLUTION – I forgot the curl –silent preceding the rest of the command. Problem solved.

In reply to: [W3 Total Cache] Plugin messes up the site9.4.1 blew up one of my websites badly. I saved the settings for the older version before updating and was able to reinstall the older W3, but I still will not update 9.4.1 to 9.5.1 on my main site specifically because my main is very large and I am afraid W3 will do serious damage to it. I do run 9.4.1 and it work fine.
flantascience, I used KeyCDN for a while and noticed the same issue you inquire about. Over time I observed that as objects (images, content, etc) were hit by site visitors, those objects got added to the CDN. So I concluded that the CDN picked up the most active stuff and served it from their servers.
But after a month I saw that my site performance was excellent without the CDN. I used W3TC and cloudflare very effectively together, and my site is rather heavy so I am very pleased. Give your static content time to be hit by site visitors, and you will probably see that content be taken up by the CDN. Look at cloudflare if you have not already.

In reply to: [My Calendar - Accessible Event Manager] Color of event date on Mini calenderYep, that works for the underline, but it is barely noticeable. How about changing the background color of the date/event to a different color? That would be more noticeable. Green, for example.
I think I got it set up 100 percent, Joe. Thanks for the timely replies to all my questions. I like your work and think you offer the most well-thought-out configuration among the several I installed and tested. So I stuck with you even though I developed carpel-digit syndrome testing various options on the back-end 🙂
I use software a LOT, and I mean all the time. Never wanted to be a programmer (was talked out of it by a programmer when I sold IBM commercial platforms), but I really dig flow. You know, the thought processes end-users go through to navigate to some end-point. Which is what I like most about your calendar (plus it comes with dark.css) It has real potential.
Complicated setup, though. Sometimes it feels as if one setting over-rides an identical setting elsewhere. This is another place where navigation is key.
As I roll it out as a customer-facing tool, I might see some opportunities for you to tune it a bit around the “navigation” component. May I send an idea or two to you as they occur? I will be happy to use another channel.
Thanks again for the help. Dark.css was my preferred theme, and it also worked. I do not know why other themes tended to bunch the calendar buttons into a big pile at the base of the main calendar. I tried so many variations… And that was with ALL plugins inactive.
Using the dark theme, it works much better, but the Registration Is Open does not provide a link to register. Also, selecting Administrator sees all options fails. I have to select eact output option in order to see everything. I put a link in the URL space after Registration Is Open but the link does not display in the popup. The description does show, but not the registration link.
Joe, I disabled all plugins except my calendar, gave calendar a full width page to remove the sidebar as a potential issue, deleted the cache, removed all minification, dumped cloudflares’ cache and stripped my site down to the base metal, and still the categories and various buttons pile up on top of each other as if they were poured out of a leggo box 🙂
I changed themes from 2014 to 2015 and 2013 and all of them gave the same results.
I checked it with ffox and chrome logged out with no history or browser cache and the results are the same, too.
I deleted every category I had – same jumbled pile of buttons at the bottom.
So the issue remains with every browser, every theme, and zero conflicts from plugins or cache as all are removed from the process.
We are too far down the aisle to switch calendars now 🙂 What can I do to help you?
OK, I reinstalled My Calendar. I also deleted several plugins and un-minified everything in W3C, deleted all caches and logged out. It is an ugly mess, but your calendar is installed.
