In reply to: [WooCommerce] Problem with columsHi there,
Which theme are you using for your WooCommerce site? There is usually a theme setting that allows you to display a certain number of products per page and also the number of rows/columns you wish to display them with.
You may need to check with your theme developer how to go about setting this up.
Hope this helps 🙂

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Download type for MP3 ?Hey there 🙂
I would personally mark the download type as a Standard Product as you have been doing. Like you mentioned, you are making some Audio Recordings. So naturally application and software are out and music does not really count as you are not making music for people to download and listen to.
I did find an article on how to Tips for selling digital products in the article there is a section on adding Schema to your downloadable product and how it will effect your product in the eye of users and search engines.
In the article above, there is a tutorial on how to add additional schema/product types to your product: https://longren.io/add-schema-org-markup-to-woocommerce-products/
I hope this helps, and by the way I am not a member of the WooCommerce Support team. I just stopped by to help 🙂
TravHi there,
Thanks for getting in touch with us, did the reports widget vanish after an update? Were they always there? Could you perhaps (while on the reports page) bring up the console dashboard (F12) and see if there are any red error messages when you click on the
Consoletab? Thanks and I hope you have had a great festive season so far!
TravHi there,
Thank you for getting in touch with us 🙂
In order for a user to access their membership account page, they will have to log into your site and navigate to
yourdomain.com/membership-accountyou can even make a menu link that directs users toyourdomain.com/membership-accountso they can easily navigate to their account page.Regarding the automatically switching of levels, the user will have to navigate to their account page and click on the “change” link under the Membership Level section, they will have to manually do this.
There is however a snippet of code to achieve this but you will need to be either a core or plus member to see it: https://www.paidmembershipspro.com/change-membership-level-on-cancellation-or-expiration/
Should you decide to sign up, you will have access to a wide variety of “Plus Add-ons”, Code Recipes and of course Premium support. For more info please visit: https://www.paidmembershipspro.com/pricing/
Hope this helps!
TravHi there,
It can sometimes be a bit tricky to debug an issue like this without being able to login and have a closer look.
We recently had a user who had a similar issue and it turned out to be an SSL issue. We do have a blog post on how to go about troubleshooting SSL issues if you are using one:
https://www.paidmembershipspro.com/debugging-httpsssl-issues/Let me know if this helps!

Hi there,
Thank you for getting in touch with us and thank you for using Paid Membership Pro, the developers are aware of this and are working on a fix in an upcoming update.
If you happen to get in touch with us in our Members Support Forum I believe we can get one of our developers to patch the fix for you.
Hope this helps!
TravSo great to hear!
Glad it is all sorted out 😀
Now all you need to do is have a restful festive season! Hopefully 🙂
Happy Holidays!
TravHi Rich,
Thank you for getting in touch with us.
I work with the support team over at Paid Membership Pro. This sounds like there is definitely a plugin conflict of sorts.
Would you kindly try activate Paid Membership Pro, go to your checkout page and try checkout. When the page becomes unresponsive will you please hit F12 (this should bring up the console dashboard). Once the console dashboard appears there should be a tab called “Console”, click on this tab and you should see an error message written in red. Copy the error message and paste it here, so we can try debug this issue for you.
Thank you! Hope you have a good day!
TravHi there,
Thank you for getting in touch with us, let me see if I can clarify a few of these questions for you.
1) Yes, a trial period is supported with the free version of PMPro.
2) The user should be billed automatically directly after the trial period ends.
3) Kim has written up an article on how to do this by using one of our add-ons but I see that the add-on is a PMPro Plus add-on.
4) You can blog certain blog posts quite easily, all you need to do is login to your site, go to the blog post that you would like to be a “Members Only” and select the Membership Level required in the “Require Membership Level” widget area to the right of the page. The blog posts that you wish to be free for everyone, you can simply leave this unchecked. If you would like you can also hide content by category. You can navigate to the bottom of the Membership Level you would like to set a category to, you will see there should be a list of categories (you may need to make a category before you see any) that you can select.
Now once you add that specific category to any post it will automatically hide it from non-members. For a more detailed view on how to do this, you can refer to our documentation below:
https://www.paidmembershipspro.com/documentation/content-controls/Hope this helps!
TravThanks for letting me know!
Also really happy you are back on Track and using PMPro 🙂
If you found this support useful, would you please consider posting an honest review at http://wordpress.org/support/view/plugin-reviews/paid-memberships-pro
Hope you have a great weekend!

Hi there,
Glad you managed to deactivate the plugin. I actually work on the Support team of PMPro.
I have already asked our development team to look into this issue and I believe @andrewza will be on in a little while to try and see if he can further help with this issue.
When I sent him the error you were posted he seemed to think that there may be a hosting issue of sorts. But, he will be on and hopefully he can shed some light on the issue for us.
Have a great day!
TravI read your message again and it gives the exact file path you need to follow to get to the Paid Memberships Pro plugin files:
/home/k9corps/public_html/wp-content/plugins/paid-memberships-proGood luck!
TravHi @agilityjeff,
I would recommend accessing your site via FTP(You are able to get FTP details from your hosting company) or getting your hosting provider to do this for you.
Basically, this will allow you to access the real “backend” of your website that is stored on your hosting companies server. You will need a program like FileZilla to do this. Here is some documentation on using FileZilla
Once you are in and you can see all your website files you will need to find the
paid-memberships-profolder. Try looking inpublic_html > wp_content > plugins > paid-memberships-proOnce you find the
paid-memberships-proplugin folder, you can rename it to something likepaid-memberships-pro-originalThis should deactivate the plugin but still keep it on your site and in your plugins list in your WordPress Dashboard. You should also then be able to access your site.
If this is all a bit too overwhelming, I would suggest asking your hosting provider to rename the
paid-memberships-profolder located in the directory above.Once your site is back on, let me know and we can try figure out why you are getting this error. Do not reactivate PMPro just yet as this will create the error message to show up again.
Hope this helps!
TravThanks for checking that for me!
@andrewza helped a user in this thread who was experiencing the same problem, would you mind having a look and letting me know if this helps you?
Thanks!
