    Hello.

I really like your plugin after a week or so of use (haven’t had members use it yet though) but I have found that when the plugin is activated, my woocommerce checkout doesn’t work, I get a timeout issue and page not responding. When I deactivate paidmembershipspro the checkout works again.

Can you advise? Obviously I will consider buying the next package if you can help with this plugin issue.

    Website is hellofit.co.uk.

    Thanks,

    Rich

  • Hi Rich,

Thank you for getting in touch with us.

I work with the support team over at Paid Membership Pro. This sounds like there is definitely a plugin conflict of sorts.

Would you kindly try activate Paid Membership Pro, go to your checkout page and try checkout. When the page becomes unresponsive will you please hit F12 (this should bring up the console dashboard). Once the console dashboard appears there should be a tab called “Console”, click on this tab and you should see an error message written in red. Copy the error message and paste it here, so we can try debug this issue for you.

Thank you! Hope you have a good day!

Hi Trav thanks for the fast reply.

    Hope this is right:

    Hi @hellofit,

The error ERR_TOO_MANY_REDIRECTS is usually caused by trying to force SSL too many times.

Are you trying to force SSL with PMPro and another SSL plugin?

    Please let me know 🙂

Thank you so much for the help. I unchecked SSL and its working now. Is this the correct thing to do or is there another way?

    You’re welcome @hellofit,

Are you running more than one SSL plugin or are you doing a force SSL rewrite within your .htaccess site?

Normally the ERR_TOO_MANY_REDIRECTS is when you already have SSL enabled and then you try to enable it again from elsewhere (i.e. from PMPro and from a SSL plugin).

    I hope this makes sense.
