In there you’ll find 3 options starting with “Featured ___”. Those relate to the slider. Set count to more than 1 and it will turn into a slider.
in /inc/featured.php on line 67, locate:
slideshow: false,
Change that to:
slideshow: true,

What is the size of an image to cover all the header? My image is 1024×127 and is not covering the full header lenght..
