Hi trance4eva. That site is using this plugin. And here is another plugin in the wp.org repository.
I used such a function about a decade ago, but found out very quickly that it is impossible to protect content: any visitor can check the content through the function View pagesource, that is available on all browsers.
Unless I missed some new development…..
@marionfw – you are correct. It just takes a little more work to copy it out of the source and clean it up. Copy protection is like a lock on your front door. It might deter some (most?) people. But, for someone who wants to take time to go through the side gate, down the path and around the back of the house to find that the back door is open, they’ll still get in. Does copy protection really work and is it worth the effort? Here’s one author that doesn’t think so.
