    Thanks mercime for your response.
However, my issue is using WordPress as a CMS, rather than a blog.

I’ve currently created a rough prototype site to experiment with, to see what I want to achieve (using version 2.9.2). Several things I notice already:

    1) I don’t appear to be able create separate Categories for ‘Pages’.

    2) When I create an ‘Author’ under me as Administrator, I can’t see any way of limiting the Categories into which that Author can Post (or write Pages).

Essentially, I want each ‘Category’ (or some other division) to be a separate section of the site.
    Is this possible ?

Your comments would again be appreciated.
    David.

    .

you can use keywords from the article text and also related keywords, synonyms, common mis spellings not found in the article text

Yes, I realise that – but that is not quite the question I have asked.

What I want to know is this:
Do search engines (e.g. Google) just index by the tags only, or significant words within the post?
Thus, should I include ‘keywords’ from the post as well as synonyms, etc.

For example, in a post about art that, say, does not contain the word paintings I would include paintings in the Post Tags list.
Should I also additionally include the word ‘art’?

As you can see I’m trying to get the optimum results within search engines.

    Thanks,
    David

You must log in to post.

No, I was referring to read-only access.

Anyway, I have just found a plugin that will accomplish what I need.
    It’s Public Post Preview

    David.

    I’ve experienced this problem also.
(Note: I’m using a different server to Midphase – MDWebHosting in Australia)

In my case the source appears to be http://reddii.ru (as indicated in the download approval dialogue box in Firefox)

I’m also seeking a solution to this problem
