Could you both get in touch with our support staff via this form: http://en.support.wordpress.com/contact/?jetpack=needs-service
Please include your site URL and things like that screenshot. Thanks!
It resizes but when I get to the 10th line, the ‘post comment’ button gets hidden underneath so I can’t publish.
I’ve tested this and can not get it to do the same thing. Do you use any Firefox Extensions that might be conflicting? Or another plugin in your WordPress install might be in conflict.
Thanks for the note. This has been reported already here: http://wordpress.org/support/topic/plugin-jetpack-by-wordpresscom-deprecated-functions-used?replies=1
@ptfrugal: You’re using Bad Behavior. There is a setting in Bad Behavior to “Allow form postings from other web sites.” Please enable that setting and things should work.
P.S. It is usually good practice to start a new thread in the forum instead of commenting on a resolved one. That way your question won’t get missed.
Thanks for the note. We’ll get these fixed as soon as we can.
A blank, white page is a PHP error. Can you check your web server logs to see what the issue is? You may need to check with your host to see where the logs are.
Check under Chrome’s advanced settings -> “Content Settings…” panel. If “Block third party cookies and site data” is checked, uncheck it.
Hi Terence – Your theme needs to use the
comment_form()function, currently, in order for Jetpack Comments to load. THe code you have pasted is for displaying the comments, which Jetpack Comments doesn’t do; it only handles the form itself.@rmvalues: no, if the theme has that function, there is no need to alter the code. Did you go to the Jetpack menu and click Activate in the Jetpack Comments box? Have you deactivated all other plugins to make sure there isn’t a conflict?
You’ll need to look through your theme files, particularly if it has a comments.php file.
CommentLuv is not compatible with Jetpack Comments due to the way Jetpack Comments is set up to process the social networking logins.
Thanks for the note about Hashcash.
The Jetpack Comments iFrame is not able to be customized with CSS currently. The Comment Prompt option does need to have a value; you can enter a non-breaking space (
) that will show an empty prompt.Currently, no, this is not possible. We are looking at an update soon to provide more customizability in this area.
Please get in touch with our support team; include your site URL in your support request.
This is a known issue. We’ll be looking at this in a future update. Thanks!
