Did you ever get this sorted out as I am getting the exact same problem on Win7 64b using Firefox and IE
I also tested on Linux, using Chrome and still bet the scroll bars !
I am using version 1.6 of the plugin.

Thanks for the suggestion but that didn’t appear to work, just got [galleryview id=1] as text back on the page so it doesn’t seem to recognise the shortcode.
