In reply to: Not a developer, can't change navbar imageYeah I just finally noticed there’s pages of files at the top of the manager. I feel like such an idiot, haha.
Thanks for checking it out for me! Now maybe I should update the other ones so they look crisper, or blur mine down a bit.
You all rock for helping even though it wasn’t a WordPress site. <3

In reply to: Not a developer, can't change navbar imageHere’s an image of the file manager. This is as far as the list of files goes down. All of these image files are viewable too, unlike the ones in the vti_cnf folder. http://i.imgur.com/worE11I.jpg
Edit: Annnnnnnnd I’m a moron in too big of a rush. Did not notice the pages thing at the top. Now I can see n_news in public/img. I replaced the file, cleared the cache again and now it works. Thank you thank you thank you!

In reply to: Not a developer, can't change navbar imageSo that’s what I thought was weird. There’s no n_news.gif in the img folder. There’s an h_news, but I can view it and it’s on a different part of the current news page.
I just uploaded n_news.gif to public/img just in case and it said file uploaded fine, but n_news still isn’t listed in the folder. I appreciate the help and suggestion though!
Also @andrew, thanks for determining that for me, I wasn’t sure since all the web searches I did on the vti_cnf thing talked about WordPress. I was trying to avoid asking Revue cause they’ll likely want money, but at this point it’s probably smarter doing that and have it just done quickly rather than wasting my wages trying to figure it out. Thank you too!
