@hochet67 It’s not clear… the image files by default are in wp-content directory inside a folder called “gallery”, what do you mean with the “WP plugin” file?
And when you say that galleries don’t appear in “manage galleries”, do you mean that only the images aren’t visible or that you miss galleries in its entirety?
Also, it’s not clear if you have restored a DB backup with all Nextgen tables and data inside.@davidfr It would be useful a link to the interested page in your site, because that link display the pro-lightbox effect, with different CSS classes from the lightbox you are probably using.
Anyway lightbox by default is grey, so if yours is white it means that someone have customized it, so just remove that code.
Or maybe do you mean the white border? It is not clear.@majselx You can change that value from the editor where you setted the album, from the ATP function (or by clicking on the placeholder image) you can choose the thumbs dimensions.
You may need to clear cache.@majselx You can increase the thumbnails size.
Usually I don’t step into a topic of someone else, but in this case it seems the same instance.
Recently an error occurred while creating the CSS / JS minify cache: File “../wp-content/plugins/swiftype-search/assets/install_swiftype.min.js” doesn’t exist
The plugin in the message has been uninstalled months ago, there are no more files on the server and I also cleaned up the DB from the “swiftype” occurences.
I already had in the past this type of message for other plugins removed, so much that I disabled the message in admin.
Of course I can disable the notifications again, but I think that this is a long-standing issue for a lot of people.@1jacque Could you explain better? In that page I see three little thumbnails not uploaded via NGG, linking to three different and regular NGG galleries.
@pizzutiphoto I’ve been using NextGEN for several years now, and has always been in that way, so I would not call it an issue.
@nppbc You’re absolutely right that the ATP doesn’t allow everything, but mine was the answer to the OP question.
You are writing in someone else’s topic to reiterate your own problem, totally different from that of the OP.@chriz69 Your solution is written in the first answer to this topic, but for OP doesn’t work.
@donalconlon Why do you need a shortcode in a post/page, if you can set what you want in the options?
ATP function doesn’t generate shortcodes, you have to put it manually if you want them.
Shortcodes are good when you can’t use the new functionality, as in templates or widgets.
In old NextGEN the parameter was “images=x”, but I don’t know if it works in a new standard shortcode, you can try anyway.@pepozzo It’s a conflict with your theme that use cufon fonts.
You can try to disable them, or ask to the theme’s author.@pepozzo It could be a conflict with another plugin or theme
You should try with no other plugin activated and with a default WordPress theme.OT: che caso, sono di Reggio Emilia.
@pepozzo Your image is well done, but a live link to the page would be more useful.
Also, you should try with no other plugin activated and with a default WordPress theme.@donalconlon “Images per page” in general gallery settings sets number for all galleries, while for a single gallery you can find the same setting on a post/page basis via ATP button.
I’ve just tested both and it works, WordPress and NextGEN last versions, so if you have tried that and doesn’t work, first you should try clearing cache.
If nothing happens, you should start the standard troubleshooting, deactivating all plugins but NGG and activate a WordPress default theme.
