@andrianiannalisa I tested now with another theme (Twenty-Fourteen by WordPress) and I confirm that the NextGEN image title on mouse-over is there by default.
I would say that maybe your theme prevents to display it or, more rarely, it could be a plugin. If you disable them all but NextGEN and activate a WordPress theme you’ll see if it’s the case.
The final solution is to create a custom template as @cais said, or ask to theme’s author if it’s a theme issue.@ludovica.zanutto, Change your URLs with a custom permalink structure, e.g. “post-name”.
@ruslendingur If you have nothing to say please don’t waste free support volunteers’ time and attention.
If you have issues you can have huge help, otherwise your non-constructive criticism about a free plugin it’s no use to anyone.@andrianiannalisa I have title displaying when “mousing” over my thumbnails and, even if I use a custom template for gallery pages, I don’t have customed this particular aspect. Are we sure that it is not by default?

@ludovica.zanutto, are you using the WordPress default URLs or custom permalinks? Please, post a link to your site.
@ssergutaboselaw You may need to manually delete the three tables in the database of NextGEN, after backup.
Edit: I’m late…
@solomuner I see in your source that the “highslide effect” path is correct.
However I don’t see the whole NextGEN output (e.g. options).
Sorry for asking again, but are you really sure that you have done the tests correctly? All plugins (except NextGEN) deactivated together with a WordPress default theme and the browser’s cache (or any kind of cache that you may have) emptied?
If it’s so, then you may need to reset all the options using the reset button in “Other Options”.@solomuner Have you cleared cache/caches switching from one effect to the other?
If this does not work you can try also deactivating the current theme and activating a Twenty series default theme.
Also, a link to the page with the issue can help to see the source of the problem.@solomuner What effect did you choose in Other options > Lightbox effects?
