In regards to the first question, please check if you are using any caching system on your site, it can cause this issue. To fix this, you will need to exclude some pages from caching. Here you will find the instruction – https://tickera.com/tickera-documentation/configuring-caching-plugins/
Second issue can be related to the caching, as well.

You can limit check-ins within Tickera > Ticket Type > Check-ins per ticket.

It could be that server doesn’t allow retrieving an image via absolute address. Try to put relative one, like ../wp-content/uploads/2015/08/background.jpg instead of absolute https://yoursite.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/08/background.jpg

To change Automatic Payment Status, just go to Tickera > Settings > Payment Gateways > Free Orders Settings and change “Automatic Payment Status” option to Paid.

It’s true that Tickera doesn’t support recurring events but it’s also true that we do not (and never did) advertise that feature at all.
Anyway, thanks a lot for 2-stars rating, it just means that we need to become better and improve Tickera 😉

if you choose Content Available To -> Tickera Users -> Specific ticket type, content of the page will be visible only to Buyer who has purchase Specific ticket type. So, it’s not possible to be visible for attendees.

Please check if one of the payment gateways is turned on (Tickera > Settings > Payment Gateways). Let me know if this was the cause of the issue.

Please check if the option “Available dates for tickets selling” (Tickera > Ticket Type) causing this issue. To test it, change option to “Open-ended”.
