Any news on this? Scan still failing at the indicated point.

Yes have tried all the options in
https://www.wordfence.com/help/scan/troubleshooting/Clearing cache server and browser side has no effect.
Enabling starting scans remotely reports a scan engine error: The signature on the request to start a scan is invalid. Please try again.

Without this option enabled scans are still stuck at” Done file contents scan

Thank you I now realise these comments are not literal WordPress comments but the comments table in the database.
We do have a WooCommerce store with a high number of daily transactions so I guess this table is large for a purpose.
I have had a look at the table and rows and it appears the information is legitimate.

In reply to: old wordpress files not removed after wp5.8 updateThanks for that clarification my WAF picked it up as a threat a low one but still a threat so I assumed it was one since it detected it as one.
Reading online and it appears css files are not impervious to security vulnerabilities. I guess this is why it is detected as one.Forum: Fixing WordPress
