In reply to: [Google Doc Embedder] [Plugin: Google Doc Embedder] Doesn't work with ChromeI’m glad to hear it is just me. I haven’t had any luck after clearing the cache but will continue “under the hood” and try to get Chrome working. Thanks for the great plug-in.

In reply to: [Google Doc Embedder] [Plugin: Google Doc Embedder] Doesn't work with ChromeI’m using the standard viewer which just displays a blank space in Chrome. When I enabled the Enhanced Viewer I got the viewer displayed with a blank document in it.
Here is a sample page:

I’ve had to give up on this and other popups as they disappear behind flash videos in posts. I’m unable to add wmode=”opaque” to every video. If someone knows another way to get this popup OVER flash videos let me know.
I should add that I had the counter installed on 6 separate WordPress websites and all were affected the same. Each sites speed returned to normal as the counter was removed.

http://www.capeparrot.org/I kept getting timeouts. I tried the repair/optimize routine on my database with no effect.
I added oooorgle’s line:
define(‘WP_MEMORY_LIMIT’, ‘128M’);and Feedburner instantly accepted my feed. Works for me.

In reply to: [Mingle Forum] Official Site DownMy biggest (only) issue with Mingle Forum is email notifications.
As administrator I get wonderful notifications every time someone posts on my Mingle Forum. My users should have to option to get them too. There should also be an auto-subscribe feature to a thread anytime someone starts or makes a post.
My forum is a low traffic niche, email notifications are almost essential to keep people involved.

In reply to: [Mingle Forum] Official Site DownI’m surprised that the Mingle site is still down. This isn’t looking good.
I tried BBpress but its lack of WordPress integration was a deal breaker for me. If that is fixed it may be worth another look.
I’ve been looking at Simple Press. I haven’t tried it but it looks good and they offer import from Mingle Forum.
Currently I’m hoping that Paul gets his site back online and continues supporting Mingle.

In reply to: [Mingle Forum] Official Site DownThe site went down like this once before and was back up in a couple of days. I’m hoping this is just another hosting glitch.
I use Mingle Forum and really like it. The author stated he was working on a complete rebuild of the forum due out later this summer. I’m hoping this is still in the works. We’ll see.
I’ve tried this with several browsers, MSIE, Firefox and Chrome. I get the warning every time I start a new session with my website no matter what I have the cookies set to.
It would be nice to click “Enter” and not be asked again for a week, month or whatever.
Maybe I don’t understand how the cookie is supposed to work. I thought that you would not receive another content warning until the cookie expired?
Sorry for not being up on the lingo but what do you mean by “localize this”?
As far as I can tell the “Cookie Expiry Time” does not work. It would be nice to disable the warning after people click OK for say a day, month, year, forever.
Let us know when V2 is out!
