I’m afraid there is no shortcode available to use our plugin. However, you should be able to add this block in a sidebar. Since the last versions of WordPress, blocks can be added in a widgets area. 🙂
Note that we didn’t update this plugin yet because there was no issue to fix at the moment. Moreover, it works perfectly with the last version of WordPress.
In case there is an issue with a future update, be sure we’ll fix this is a new release!Please don’t hesitate to post a review about our plugin, it is very appreciated! 🙏🏼

We investigated but we can’t reproduce this issue.
Could you please deactivate temporarily all plugin but Verified Member and BuddyBoss? Then, could you confirm to us that you’re still facing this issue?
Finally, you could also consider clearing all activated caching system as well as your browser cache before investigating any further. If you want to read more on what browser cache is and how to clear it, here is an article that might help you: How to Clear Internet Cache in Every Major Browser.

To filter on verified members, you can use the BP Profile Search plugin. This plugin will allow you to create a filter on the Verified status.
The code of the verification request button is in the function “display_verification_request_button()”, in the file “/inc/class-bp-verified-member.php” of the plugin.

For users that are manually verified, it is stored as a user meta using the “bp_verified_member” meta key. User metadata are saved in the wp_usermeta table in the database.
For users that are verified by role or member type, they are considered verified when their role or member type matches one that has been checked in the Verified Member settings.

Concerning the badge in the private message, I’m afraid we’re not able to reproduce this issue. All seems to work fine on our side. Are you using BP Better Message plugin?

I’m afraid that this is standard design with our plugin and changing the style requires customization work.
However, don’t hesitate to request the compatibility with our plugin to your theme authors. they might be able to add some CSS lines in their theme to make the plugin fit.
