Hi @imborx,
The “assigned to role” feature is a good idea, we added it to our todo list (even if it doesn’t have a high priority).
However, the “ask to verify” feature requires much more effort in implementation. We will only think about it if other users also request it!

Thank you for the files.
I did a test with the Klein theme you provided me and as I thought it seems that this theme isn’t compatible with our plugin.
Usually I would advise to contact the theme support, but it seems the Klein theme is no longer supported. And there is unfortunately not much we can do on our side to fix that, as it is the responsibility of the theme to implement compatibility.

Can you please tell us what theme are you using on your website?
Also, you could always try to switch to one of the default WP themes like the Twenty Nineteen theme to see if it works. If it does, that means this is most likely an issue with the theme you are using.

To add this code snippet to your site, we recommend that you paste it to the Custom CSS panel of your WordPress Customizer. Just go to your dashboard and navigate to “Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS”.

In the meantime, simply add the following code snippet to your website:
.bp-verified-member .item-title > a ~ span.bp-verified-badge, .bp-verified-member .member-name > a ~ span.bp-verified-badge, .bp-verified-member > .author > a ~ span.bp-verified-badge, .bp-verified-member .member-name-item > a ~ span.bp-verified-badge { display: none !important; }This should do the trick.
