In reply to: Password reset email not being sent.Hello – Do you have access to the database? The best option is to reset your password via your phpMyAdmin interface. Are you familiar with this?

In reply to: Background image in platformI use Dreamweaver also.. But I prefer Notepad++ – Pretty simple.
FTP the 2 files to a folder where you can find them easily. I would suggest the following:
1. Name your folder mod_theme
2. FTP the files to the folder
2. Open Notepad++ or Dreamweaver – then edit the 2 files
3. FTP them back to the same directory.I do all my work on a localhost environment using XAMPP, makes life easier. I use to work with these FREE DNS deals, but for installing and editing, the FTP can slow you down. I don’t have to FTP anything until I’m happy with the results. The height can be adjusted with ease. Let me know how you make out!
MAKE sure to BACK-UP your theme! 🙂

In reply to: Background image in platformI got it to work. Back-up your theme before doing theme edits!!
There are 2 CSS files to edit. How are you with editing the CSS files? The 1st change is line 118 in styles.css located in the root folder. Replace the original code of:
body {background-color: #000;}With this code:
body { background: url("yourimage_path") repeat scroll 0 0 transparent; color: #7F7F7F; font-family: helvetica,arial,sans-serif; font-size: 12px; height: 100%;}Now the tricky part! In the CSS folder you will find dynamic.css. Locate line 74. Replace the code:
body #page, .sf-menu li, #primary-nav ul.sf-menu a:focus, .sf-menu a:hover, .sf-menu a:active, .commentlist ul.children .even, .alt #commentform textarea{background-color:#FFFFFF;}With the new code of:
body #page, .sf-menu li, #primary-nav ul.sf-menu a:focus, .sf-menu a:hover, .sf-menu a:active, .commentlist ul.children .even, .alt #commentform textarea{background-color:#ffffff; width:762px; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;}The width may need to be adjusted. I’m just working with a birds eye.. for perfect display, try it on yours. Adjust the width to the size you want… As for a border.. well add it to the second section code.. If you need more help, let me know.
No idea if you can work with CSS files.. always back up your originals before playing – ok.

In reply to: css and images not workingOk good stuff – Still look at your load time for your video, major delay. I have used some of the more simple video players and they load much quicker, But overall – good show!

In reply to: Firefox not displaying any themesOk – Your sites are back-up.
1. http://hi2point5.com/ – The wordpress is not installed. You need to unzip it and then FTP to your root folder (guessing you want it as the site) – or there maybe an install feature on your admin panel via your host.. But I would look at changing hosts, as it was down yesterday for quite a while. I suggest getting some freeware on monitoring your sites, there are ones on the market that will email you when your site is down. Just a thought.
2. The 2 comic sites are working.. and I will check them out – look GREAT!
3. Your screen shot is from which URL?

In reply to: Web page not displaying correctly on PCLooks fine here. I checked it on PC & Linux. The CSS is not the same in all browsers, but you’re in the photo in a nice place. Your blog link opened in a separate browser.. Oh some of the other links opened in a separate window also.. may want to look at that. The theme is a slight different on your blog. But the site seems ok. Google Docs is not supported in all worlds, may want to look at another option. Just a thought.

In reply to: Firefox not displaying any themesSorry – all sites are down – Unable to ping them + your host DNS is down. 🙁 As for the google theory, no it has nothing to do with accessing your sites directly. 🙁

In reply to: css and images not workingThe video worked on the front page (I’m on 50MB line – Fiber Optic), but took close to 30 seconds to come on. Your Vimeo player is working, but speed is slow. May want to look at your media size or I suggest another player.
