Yeah… such a drag. I cleared my cache and was able to updated the meta description in the plug….
But I’m too getting the example-post add-on for my static home page.
I’m so disappointed… previous Yoast SEO releases were bulletproof quality. No meta description is showing up on my home page. nor can I add the meta description (the pencil icon is missing)

Copied the above example into text mode. No blank lineI DID however get it to work with tiny MCE advanced using DIV.
line 1
line 2
line 3Selected all lines
Selected number lists
selected tiny MCE advanced format > blocks > ‘div’
Add a space and shift/enter after each lineEnds up looking like….

In reply to: [WP Customer Reviews] Review has been posted but needs approvalSaw that…
Other ‘comment’ like plugins I’ve used had an approval link.
This plugin is WAY more professional looking!

In reply to: [Fast Secure Contact Form] How to set up date/time options in 2 columnsThanks again…
I’ve given up trying to design the form as I had planned.
I’ve come up with a new layout that will work for now. I need to move on.

In reply to: [Fast Secure Contact Form] How to set up date/time options in 2 columnsOh, because of the way I’ve had to rig the form, the resulting email with the information from the form is pretty nasty looking.

In reply to: [Fast Secure Contact Form] How to set up date/time options in 2 columnsThanks for that…..
I don’t really want the whole form in 2 (or 3) columns.
I’m looking to have checkbox multiple option field (ONLY) in 2 or 3 columnsI’ve never worked so hard on a form.
So far, the best I can come up with is the following (and it’s STILL not great.) Still working on the second checkbox option layout at the bottom.http://whaa.afrankdiscussion.com/schedule-an-appointment
If I could get the checkbox and the label to line up, I’d live with it for a while.

In reply to: [Fast Secure Contact Form] How to set up date/time options in 2 columnsTried using ‘inline’ option but ends up breaking the check box options awkwardly (esp when I just want 2 columns)and I can’t use max length with check box multiple.
I created a new field for each day of the week (inline with a space ( ) as the label)and it looks stupid with no symmetry and I THINK it’s playing havoc with the location of the check box.

In reply to: [Fast Secure Contact Form] How to set up date/time options in 2 columnsThank you for your response… I found that documentation.
I don’t want the form in 2 columns.
I just want to be able to put the check box options in 2 (or 3) columns.
The format otherwise is fine.Yesterday I tried every different configuration possible. No matter what I chose it was jiggy.
This morning I went with flex slider again which is where I began (there is no ‘random’ selection in advanced.)The slide display is now working as expected (1st slide didn’t repeat) and the fade is working.
Maybe I threw too much at it over a long period of time and it couldn’t keep up….
Thanks!
I’m back….
To recap:
Several pages in particular have been the target of spam by way of a FORM (not a link) I have in the right sidebar (comments are not an option on the site.)I’ve created new forms (one form is on the contact page, one form is in the sidebar of all the pages.)
I’ve renamed the webpage url on those pages targeted for spam
(e.g. renamed http://coloradocreativeconcrete.com/decorative-concrete-entryway/ to
http://coloradocreativeconcrete.com/decorative-concrete-entry/)I obviously could not rename the home page which also was targeted with spam (which was unnerving)
I’ve enabled both honeypot and captcha.
Since doing the above, things have quieted for a while until yesterday when I received spam from
http://coloradocreativeconcrete.com/decorative-concrete-entry/ (one of the webpages originally targeted and I renamed.)I’m stuck here. I reviewed the recommendation above (All In One WP Security & Firewall) and I’m not convinced that will stop the issue with spam from FORMS (comments for sure and login, account, file and firewall) but…
Any additional help?

In reply to: [AddToAny Share Buttons] Facebook Like Icon not showing up in AddtoanyOK GREAT! Thank you!
I just changed the page name
e.g.
http://www.coloradocreativeconcrete.com/old-page-name/ to
http://www.coloradocreativeconcrete.com/new-page-name/No problems there. There’s no reason to change the domain name.
The only thing I changed in the side bar is the form
From [si-contact-form form=’2′] to [si-contact-form form=’6′]That TOO is just fine throughout the site.
I’m just getting spam coming from [si-contact-form form=’6′] which is in the sidebar but the spam is only coming from the home page.
The spam has STOPPED coming from other webpages.
No other security plugins except for honeypot.
The only spam blocking plugins I found attempted to stop spam coming from comments.
