the edit link on that appearance page for that widget is
http://www.immediateannuitypro.com/wp-admin/themes.php?page=dynwid-config&action=edit&id=abc-3and works just fine.. as do other widgets, but only if i control them thru the appearance>dynamic widget panel.same thing going on on my other site (which is hosted somewhere else, FWIW
widget level access to dynamic controls goes to 404, but appearance>dynamic widget level access is just finethanks for looking at it!

Both sites are ones i’m updating, so both are newest WP version, 3.1.1 One is thesis v 1.8 theme, the other pagelines platform. The plugin does n;t work on either site, even with all plugins disabled, via the link in the widget field- goes to that 404 page.however, thanks to your advice above, i can confirm that the plugin DOES work thru the appearance menu location- i’m embarrassed that i didn’t even know it was accessible that way!
the URL that i get to that shows as 404 via the link in the widget pane is

In reply to: [WP-Weather] [Plugin: WP-Weather] Broke site on auto upgradewell, i deleted teh plugin thru FTP, then re-uploaded the new version thru ftp, an was able to restore access tothe admin side- deactivate and re activate the plugin, all seems to be working.
other users may want to manually ugrade plugin via ftp rather than risk breakage-
i am havinghte same issue on many blogs- likewise, the crap is now coded into many blog posts. disabling all plugins does not make it go away. i can not re-create how it gotthere. wordpress.com’s answer is Just go to Design – Extras and check the box to remove them
however, on my self hosted blogs, this isn;t an option-
any suggestions? where the heck did htis come from?
