The trick to solve that issue is to turn off “Inherit default layout” for the row/group and then enter 1000 px in the width.
I also want to copy the parent theme’s template customizations to child theme. It is not working and it’s annoying if it is not support. I wish I should have created child theme first and then do template customizations later. It looks like I’ve to do it all over again which is freaking annoying.
They have changed the navigation menu styles. You will have to add the menu in template and change it from there itself. I think they should have kept the classic menu options. Hope they will bring it back soon.
WordPress doesn’t support that kind of thing which you want to achieve. Dynamic content inside the posts is not possible.
