Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Editor Reverted to 2.0 version???I found the issue. After digging more into the posts here, I found that there is a check-mark in my user profile for entering posts in visual mode. That needed to be checked. Somehow I must have unchecked it.
I would have never guessed that one. Geesh.

In reply to: Upgrade 2.05 to 2.1 – Write Post is blank pageI just resent a bunch of the files from directory wp-includes/js/tinymce to my server. I think I was missing a couple out of there, and a couple of them ended up getting sent as 0mb.
This remedied the situation. Maybe that is your issue too, Kaknu?

In reply to: Upgrade 2.05 to 2.1 – Write Post is blank pageyes, I did try to reload the page. I ended up finding the missing file in the admin directory. I FTPed it to the directory on my server…I can write posts now.
BUT….
And a big BUT it is, I wrote 2 pretty long posts, and everything seemed to go well until I looked at the main page of my blog. The title of the posts are there, but the body content is blank. Now what could be the issue???

In reply to: Install issues/admin login issuesdo you know how I would resolve that? I know if I manually add the index.php to that URL it shows up.

In reply to: Install issues/admin login issuesIt worked. Thanks for helping me out,a nd bouncing ideas off my head.
I was missing several files in the themes and admin folder as will as the main folder.
I got it up and running now.Forum: Installing WordPress
In reply to: Install issues/admin login issuesI think the server will recognize index.php. As it does with other php applications I have running off it. The problem so far as I can see it that some random files (including admin/index.php) were omitted. I am going through each directory with my error messages and retrieving/re-transferring the ommitted file to the server. Cross your fingers that it works.

In reply to: Install issues/admin login issuesI cleared it all out, and am re installing. I see what yo mean about the missing index.php in the admin folder though. I am using a diferent FTP program for the new install. I have been having issues with Filezilla lately.
