In reply to: Comment form not displaying “Name” “Email” or “Website”It was the blank user. My MT import seems to have created a blank user. Thanks for the help.

In reply to: Suggestions requestedI agree with everyone else on the dark background. I also think the widths need to be fixed (like the line under the header which extends farther than the header).

In reply to: Would you call it a weblog?Blogs are evolving. So calling this a blog just helps that evolution. Regardless of what you would call it, it just shows how flexible and adaptable the medium is.

In reply to: Google adsI’ve having a problem with my ads. (Note to Adsense police: I’m not trying to get people to click on them). On my site, http://www.tacojohn.net , when you mouse over a link in the menu, the Adsense box flickers. I’ve checked it in Firefox, IE and Opera, and it only happens in Firefox. If anyone can help at all (and I understand if this has nothing to do with WP), I would really apperciate it.

In reply to: 3-column layout, moving sectionsThat’s a great tutorial, thanks.

In reply to: 3-column layout, moving sectionsI seem to have it fixed. One more question (and I a newbie at CSS so excuse me if this is dumb) but what do I have to edit to give the site a bluish theme? It seems the header, the background, the titles of the posts and the comments link.

In reply to: 3-column layout, moving sectionsHmm, I switched it back to the original index.php and wp-layout.css files, and the calendar still looks wrong. Any ideas?

In reply to: 3-column layout, moving sectionsOk, I got basically what I wanted, just now the calendar styling is all screwed up. It looks nothing like the original calendar. I inserted all the rmenu stuff in the CSS file, did that affect it at all?
Forum: Themes and Templates
In reply to: 3-column layout, moving sectionsSo for instance, in the index.php file, I can create <div id=”rmenu”>. I then move what I want into that div. Then I need to make a CSS entry for that div, similar to what is in the #menu? Sounds like a plan.

In reply to: 3-column layout, moving sectionsOK, so now that i’ve changed my site, http://www.tacojohn.net , to the Trident layout, I want to move the categories, archives, search, calendar, other and meta sections to the right side. Basically, I want my info, the links and the google ads on the left, and everything else on the right. Now I just need to know how to edit the css to accomplish that.

In reply to: 3-column layout, moving sectionsOk, I sorta figured I would have to edit the CSS, now I need to know what. I like the layout, but how does it help me do what I want to do?

In reply to: Trackbacks on main pageThat seems to have done what I wanted. I’m interested to hear if this hack comes out. Thanks for the help.

In reply to: Trackbacks on main pageI see these tags, but which will create the link to the trackbacks with the number, i.e. (not a real link) Trackbacks (5)? Or is it not possible?

In reply to: Unrest among MTers expect a little flood towards WTo call someone free loading just because they switched to a free product because they did not want to pay for another product is offensive. And the features they are asking for are good features. I’m sure there’s a few wp users who would want those features. I doubt that if the devs said “Who wants multiple blog support?” there would be a massive outcry.

In reply to: WordPress Blogs StatsHow do I get the stats page to style like the rest of my blog? It’s good info, but I just want to make it look better.
