Ok, so it took me a looong time to give this a go – but as it happens version 1.4 had already been released and this one was quite happy to update itself properly using the normal admin update page. sorted 🙂
Similar problems here with new 1.6.4 release, I either get ONLY the files, NO database (.sql) backup file or I get email without any file attatchment!? Also noticed the ‘Backup Now’ function does not seem to work either!? Although I didnt try that on the previous releases I had.
