In reply to: Not all images loadHi Neel I ran a test on gtmetrix.com. it offers up a few suggestions but i’m not really sure how to fix them.
for e.g. one says
The following resources have identical contents, but are served from different URLs. Serve these resources from a consistent URL to save 1 request(s) and 85.9KiB.
https://i1.wp.com/www.travelswithsurabhi.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/09/IMG_5338.jpg?fit=600%2C400&ssl=1
https://i1.wp.com/www.travelswithsurabhi.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/09/IMG_5338.jpg?resize=600%2C400&ssl=1in my media library the image only appears once though…
then there are suggestions to minify java script and css for resources which seem to refer to my jetpack plugin and the theme i am using baskerville – again i have no idea how i would go about doing this!
and this one which says: Remove the query string and encode the parameters into the URL for the following resources: (the resources refer to multiple images like below but i only see the images in my media library where the url doesnt have a query string)
sorry i’m fairly basic in my knowledge of these things i am guessing the only option would be to pay a site like gtmetrix to carry out these optimisations? is there any risk from doing the same?
many thanks for your help

In reply to: Not all images loadHi salmansaleem, i tried it on incognito mode in chrome. there were fewer missing images but they were there .. with just the IMG_5583 etc in the top left of a blank white space.
what is this cache plugin minimising css / js files how can i get rid of it please? i dont have too many plugins: iOS image fixer, jetpack, yoast seo and vaultpress and i think i need all of them

In reply to: DashboardHi James
at the moment the capabilities field shows this value :
a:1:{s:10:”subscriber”;b:1;}
so just to confirm i should change the 10 to 13?
my phpmyadmin is showing four databases for some reason and they are all named with the prefix of my domain name so i cant tell which one is for my site exactly, should i just go into each one’s wp usermeta table and change the capabilities as above?its odd I used to be able to login just fine and see my admin dashboard
Thanks

In reply to: DashboardHi James,
On the left hand side there are four items : Dashboard, Jetpack, Profile, Collapse Menu. I tried clicking on each but the old admin menu seems to have disappeared.
Thanks
