In reply to: [W3 Total Cache] Crashing SiteHey SonicxXx – I’m having the same problem with my site. did deleting the files in wp-content/cache/page_enhanced….. Work for you?
My site is super slow without the leveraged browser caching and I’m wondering how to fix it. Every time I try to re-install W3Total cache, my site crashes.
Count me in for a solution to this. I’ve been looking too. Social Gallery takes much too long to load and I’m looking for something simple. Let me know if anyone finds anything.
I found the plugin that was causing the problem. Its called “Under Construction”. Because I did not want to make my webisite live, I downloaded and activated an under construction plugin. Even when the plugin was activated and set to show the website, the events did not show on the calendar. when I de-activated this plugin, everything worked fine.
Resolved.
Sorry it took me so long to get back to you. I’ve been out of town on business. my website is http://WWW.cascadiaexpeditions.org
I disabled that SEO plugin and this is still happening. I created an admin account in my wordpress dashboard for my business partner and then asked him to log in and see if he could see the calendar….BEFORE he had an admin account he could not see the events listed on the calendar…calendar showed up but no events listed.
AFTER he’d logged in as an admin, he could see the events listed on the calendar. I checked all the permissions settings for viewing posts and I have them all as “public”, not sure why this isn’t working. I’ll start going through and de-activating plugins.
Feel free to visit my site and see what you think. Thanks!
BrettFurther info. I switched themes and ran all programming on the default Twenty eleven theme and the problem still persists. Events show up on my computer when I visit the site, but don’t show up on a different user computer.
Also, I de-activated the SEO plugin, and still no dice. Calendar works on my computer, doesn’t show on others.
Please help!
