In reply to: Confused by WP subscribe vs Mailchimp – pls help!thanks, I already have an RSS feed. I understand now that I can’t do what I want to do above.
Thanks Digico.
Thanks Digico. I do have google fonts and it’s one of those I deactivated, so will try that first.
How can I load a plugin in async mode? And what is JS? Sorry but I’m not technical enough to understand those suggestions.
I wonder if there’s a connection between the disappearance of the toolbar and the ads?
Further to the adsense situation, I won’t mark this as resolved until I’ve had another go at managing the ads to see whether it starts failing again. Don’t have the nerve to do that right now – want to at least enjoy it working for a few days first.
Thanks for your reply.
Following your suggestion, I went to Users to check the Show Toolbar. It was checked but I unchecked, saved, then checked and saved. It didn’t seem to make any difference.
Re plugins – After reading your suggestion I deactivated about 5 of them. The totals are now All (33) | Active (21) | Inactive (12) | Recently Active (5) | Must-Use (1) | Drop-ins (1) That doesn’t seem very many to me. What do you think?
I didn’t get as far as looking at the cache before I saw that after both the above, suddenly my toolbar was back and so were the ads!
Now I need to carefully reactivate the plugins one at a time to see if I can find the culprit. As to the toolbar, maybe that unchecking / rechecking did the trick and it just took a couple of minutes to reload.
Anyway, thanks for your patient suggestions. I feel sane again!
no I didn’t. I’ve been trying for 2 days to remove 3 images from my slider and the delete button never responded – but now it has. Great!
However, I’m about to change themes so I may be back 😉
now that’s odd. I just tried it again and it worked! For the first time it came up with an ‘are you sure?’ popup, then it deleted the slide. Did you tweak something?
oops apologies.
WordPress 4.4.1 running Vantage Premium theme.
Metaslider vs 3.3.6

In reply to: [MC4WP: Mailchimp for WordPress] Email Before DownloadHi Harish, your colleague answered my initial question very promptly two days ago but I think she misunderstood what I was asking. I haven’t heard from her since I replied and tried to explain myself better. So I look forward to hearing more. Many thanks, Sue.
